I like the way your hand-eye coordination seems to link with some kind of mental scaling that you just fill in automatically. I can’t wait to see where you go in a years time. 👍
Yes, Becky you are right to continue wearing a mask. Not just for your own safety, but out of respect to others. I love your videos. You have inspired me to start drawing again after a break of about 12 years. Keep up the love, inspiring and good work.
"Let go of preconceptions and just draw shapes" - Words to live by for artists. Thanks Becky. Thumbs up to everybody wearing masks in crowded places. Joey 🙂
Hi dear Becky ! I loved seeing your hands going like a magic wand drawing so many details !! I am always totally amazed as you make it look so easy !! Thank you for taking is on your trips and sharing your working process in so much detail ! I am learning a lot from you and am ever so grateful to you ! I send you virtual hugs 🤗😁and Blessings ! I look forward to see you again on RUclips very soon ! Have a lovely week... Lorraine 🌷🎨🥰❤️
I love your style of painting; it is so charming and you are so talented. Thank you for continuing to wear your mask. I don't think people realize that this is not over and are getting more reckless with their health. Please continue to stay safe and keep posting. You don't know how much I enjoy your art! Thank you.
I'm wearing my mask too ans I surely will do in the next months. Always love to watch you sketching. You make me go more outside and sketch right at the locations and hopefully getting more loose with my pens. Thanks for all the inspiration and stay healthy!
Thank you Becky particularly for the commentary and video of the surroundings it took me back to my only visit to Vancouver four years ago. I’m an aussie. Your sketching is inspirational to say the least!👌❤️
Looking for help with interior watercolor and found it with Becky. Very informative and explained each step. I'm trying to master an unfamiliar medium and she makes it look easy. Thank you Becky. Will definitely visit with you again.
I wear my mask too. Thanks, this was wonderful. Love your voice overs explaining all the details and paint choices - most importantly, why you chose what you did. ❤️
I wish I had the confidence to sketch in public like that. I have to be somewhere nobody can see what I am doing. I am not at that stage yet but I'm looking at your videos and learning allot so maybe I can get there one day. :)
Thanks for taking us with you. Again, I learned much from this, and most importantly I learned to observe and see how many different tones of brown/yellow there were.
I love the way you sketch. I’m so poor at drawing people and end up leaving them out of scenes which then loses something. But one big problem I end up having is scale when fitting something onto the page. Do you have any tips for this? Wow one hour!?! That impressive.
Hi Becky, I recently discovered your videos and I am truly impressed with your work. For years, I’ve been tempted to go out and do urban sketching but I always felt a bit shy to go out and draw live. Looking at your work inspires me quite a lot. So, keep the good work and don’t stop sharing these very inspiring clips with useful comments and tips.
I really enjoyed this sketching! I love how you give so much dimension when adding some (not so simple, i find :P) strokes! Vancouver seems to be such a beautiful city! Like you, I still wear my mask here too, let's stay safe :)
hi Becky-- such a great video! I am very interested in sketches like this..I don't understand thou how you can judge if u have enough room for the whole area since u don't pencil first.. u have such a talent..I wish I could get to your level..I have a hard time with proportion and perspective...thanks for sharing your talents! please do more of these!
I just love your style of art♥️♥️♥️, but for particular this drawing, your line sketch looks more expressive and aesthetic to me than coloured one , it's totally my personal opinion😇

Dear Becky, I like to think of this current time with mask wearing as " a little safer" .... where 'safe' doesn't exist in any form..... The "safe" word is overused and isn't real. I strive to be a wee bit happier, safer, healthier, productive and also with some stillness and calmness too... I love the warmth of this urban coffee shop sketch. I love cafe lattes too, with oat milk and honey, very creamy! Does anybody ever comment if they find out you are drawing them? I noticed your last video you covered your hand over your work, with the big bird sculpture when they came closer for a drink. I suppose it is similar to street photography, trying to be a bit subtle. I paint outside at Bondi Beach, or at the Botanical Gardens, but I don't include people, as they are just landscape gardens, or skyscapes, sea scapes...or how the sky cuts the negative space of the city buildings... Thank you for your work and filming. People have grown complacent with the mask wearing. I am agreeing with you, I see the same issue here. It’s impressive watching you sketch. I’m still at the pencil stage. You really know how to show detail without showing detail!

Hi Becky! randomly ran into your channel and I really enjoyed watching your vlog and artistic sketching techniques ;) you're so talented !
Great sketch vid. Have you tried a sailor Fude pen? You can use one pen to get all the line thicknesses..
Thank you! ☺️ Yes, I've tried a fude pen, it's fun to work with. But it's a lot of work to maintain the waterproof ink in it to prevent clogging.
Hi Becky, I hope you don't mind if I take a screenshot of the part of your video showing the waterfront? I fancy doing a painting of it.
Go ahead!
Thank you.
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

Hi! I've never heard from you about your paints, what paints and colors do you use, maybe I just haven't watched videos where you talked about it?

Becky do you draw people and their clothes in your own standard memorized way. Or do you try to copy the lines you see?
I do it both ways. When people stay there for a while I try my best to trace the shapes I see; If they walk away I have to use my memory.
Hi what do you use for editing and voice-over please
I use iMovie on my MacBook to edit and voice over.
