Hi Severin, thanks for your comment. Your right this could be classed as not very low. What wide angle camera doesn't really show is that when I found the thermal that I finally climbed out on I was at the bottom of the steep part of hill where there was little to no wind and no way of gliding out other than slope landing. The part of hill below me was very very shallow. Being "low" is very subjective and completely changes for me depending on weather/conditions of the day and where you are placed.

Quite good hill to start XC route in russian flatland conditions :))))
