That’s impressive! How long should it take to get to 1 million worms? I’m starting my herd in breeder bins I set up yesterday. I have 6,000 new worms coming Friday and 6000 later next week? Should I start a nursery bin too for the cocoons and whisps? Seems like a lot to start with, but I think I can work on multiplying my worm count before I even think about buying a trommel.
Wow, lots of happy worms!

APROX 19 MONTHS if red wigglers . Where did you buy your worms and what species did you buy?
I bought from Uncle Jim’s
They are a “mix” hopefully red wrigglers and European night crawlers
I plan on using them to restore my 20 acre fields with vermicompost twice per year. Top dress with manure spreader on existing hay
Do you breed species in separate bins or just keep them together?
If from him they will mostly be blue worms. Blue worms are a tropical worm and can not with stand the cold so don't put them outside.
What is in this vermi mix, please?
mushroom compost, pulverized card board, coffee grounds, worm chow, microbial food, oyster shell flour.
Meme you have some great worm beds call me and tell me about the vermi blend when you get a chance thank you!!!
So gross lol. But keep up the good work
