I would like to see a "Mr Bones" style joker that is just "if your last hand does not meet the score, retrigger your whole hand and destroy this joker"
Sr. Huesos is already all you need in that design space. This would be betternin later antes but worse early on, and its an onfrequent enough scenario thar it doeant warrant to joker design slots
Hi dev of this mod, i can't get the mod to work, and i also have an idea for a joker you could make for the mod. Candy rush (the image depicts some candy from candy crushers), rarity: rare; cost: 8$; effect: for every blind you do in a row with only 1 hand, create a negative alchemy and (unless it is tied to altering cards) use it, if it isn't used by the end of the blind, destroy it, this effect stacks up to 3 times (so do 3 blinds in a row with only one hand for 3 alchemy cards per ante) but it resets when you use a hand and it doesn't beat the blind (if your confused, it's based on the streak system from candy crush styled games).
Hey though, would it be funny if you made like a "Furniture joker" Or "Cooking recipe joker"? *For example: when you do a full house and have a "Furniture Joker" It'll double the multiplier by every other furniture joker or one time use furniture card you have.*
I’m paraphrasing here, but he’s said in interviews that he doesn’t want to add more mechanics or category of cards/modifiers to the game, as he’d rather add more cards and effects within each category instead. If I remember right, he’s very satisfied with how relatively simple and easy the game is to understand right now, and don’t want to dilute that with additional categories of modifiers. That’s not to say effects similar to this couldn’t appear as Jokers, Spectrals, Seals or what have you. But he seemed very adamant on not wanting another category of card/modifier added (and while he has had his mind changed on aspects of the game before, that was before release, and I didn’t get the impression he’s as willing to mess with the core design now)

If the creator really likes the idea but doesn't want to include it in main game, it could be an option in menu to enable those cards(or make steam workshop so everyone can easily download it if they want to)
The fact that he didn't pick up the plus 1 hand and plus 1 discard alchemical cards boggles my mind they seem so op especially since for most of the game he had a card that doubles the cards effects and it didn't say that it would only last for 1 round so it must be perminant it's crazy
Tbh I don’t know why Breaking Bozo is better than Chain Reaction, since you can control the outcome for Chain Reaction and it’s at 100% for Breaking Bozo it’s random and only 50% as good.
Yeah, you don't really get to use a lot of alchemical cards each blind except for maybe with perkeo Also the fact that they are one-time-use cards also makes them extremely unreliable, if you are relying on those cards to survive the blinds then you are probably done for in couple rounds
The ectoplasm effect is 2 separate statements. 1: random standard edition Joker becomes negative 2: -(1 x ectoplasm used) hand size Ectoplasm's effect scales and stacks so -1 then -2 is a total -3
When i saw the premise of the game, i was hoping for all the other sorts of cards to be part of the same deck. Make a two pair of kings and towers. Get a straight antiflush hand with five different suits because you pulled in tarot suits, or suits from areas that don't use the French deck. Instead they hang out on the side doing their own thing. Less interesting IMO. Shame this mod doesn't

Both polychrome and glass would trigger, x1.5 * x2 = x3… and if this is retriggered with red seal, this becomes x3 * x3 = x9 Yes, it could still break but if you’re able to copy it then things should be fine
i don't know if its intended but this mod seems to make the game harder. it just bloats the shop with things that cost money that offer compensation for 1 blind that barely offsets (if not directly worse than a tarot, IE 10$ < 20-50$ potential) what that money could do otherwise permanently. and the jokers all seem to suck as well, judging from this video. not saying its a bad mod, and the art is sweet, but the effects aren't at all exciting imo.

I don't really care for the mods. The game hasn't been out long enough. I can see that creative people are attempting to add something to the game. I just think it distracts from the intended strategy of the game. As someone that doesn't have 10 hours a day to play the game, I'm still struggling to beat random seeds and unlock everything. The mods are far too niche for me.

It's just a dusk that doesn't trigger if you win anyways so a weaker dusk (won't always trigger stuff like gold seal twice)

Fixating on hearts with Hack Fibonacci was painful to watch. Playing a single pair of 3s gives far more mult than a non-fib hearts flush.

I really hope that LocalThunk takes note of this and maybe makes it an official part of the game. The effects and ideas going on here are SO GOOD

The mod fits the base game otherwise, but they should've used the word round instead of blind like the base game cards do.
