Another reason why I love them is because besides the brotherhood they have between them, they can be business partners successfully. Not everyone can do that. Even though you may be close to some of your buddies, not all of them can be business partners because you need to be on the same frequency and understand each other's way of doing things. HIGHLIGHT has achieved that level.

But I'm happy now that these boys are doing well. They are producing songs that they like, not for popularity and trend. I think in the industry Highlight has the most respect and loyalty from me. Not once have they disregarded their fans in any way and they do their best to express their sincerity and appreciation for us through their rough and joyful times. They deserve the most happiness in their lives and I hope that their music will continue to be listened upon daily as they leave to the military. I just hope that they know that their songs for the entirety of their career has impacted me one by one.

They advised us to treat them as a hobby and not someone whom our world should revolve too. Because hey, they know we have our own lives too 10. Thinking of HIGHLIGHT makes feel so nostalgic, as if I'm finally back home .. My childhood memories related to them along with all the second generation groups .. Now I'm 24 , and still looking for their news all the time.. I remember their first song that got me into them .. It was SHOCK, and later.. They proved they had the best friendship and brotherhood bond, they left their company , started a new business and here we are .. Successful as before ..they can sing, write songs, dance, act, and for me they are one of the funniest idols in the industry along with SUJU.. They don't have a bad song.. Red hair is Gikwang, main dancer. Handsome and brown hair is Dongwoon, maknae. A rapper is junhyung, main rapper. The small one is yoseob, main vocal. Another one is Doojoon who is Leader but now he is in military.
Been stanning Beast since 2009. Was heartbroken when Hyunseung left. Was heartbroken when the name "Beast" was copyrighted and taken from them. Was happy that they bounced back as Highlight. Now, I'm sad, because they are about to go because of their duty to their country (military service). Forever a b2utyful light 💙 I'll be waiting for you.
I'm glad though that they decided to just change name and continue on instead of wasting time fighting for the name beast. Shinhwa lost so much time even though they did win and keep their name (which was a good thing especially fighting against such a big company like sment). I do think highlight couldve won if they did bring up a case to keep beast since shinhwa gives precedent but i would rather have new jams than have to wait a year or two for them to get their name back and then basically go straight into enlisting.
totally agree, the up and down that Beauty/Light been through with BEAST/Highlight make us stronger together and make me proud and love both BEAST/Highlight and Beauty/Light even more everyday
What makes me proud (always), is that whenever they release a song, you know its gonna be a bop, regardless of it being popular or not. And when you go to their MVs, the amount of positivity vs negativity is just too big.. And when you go through the comment section, you can feel that they are loved and respected not only by Lights, but by other fandom as well.. The nostalgia they bring whenever they sing is so strong and brings you back too old days everybody misses..

Am I the only one who got 2ng gen vibes from this? I mean today's kpop artist, while doing great, has this rather huge western influence on their songs, meanwhile here we have Higlight, who are, altough exploring new sounds, still retains their "vibe" , this distinct 2nd gen korean sound. Finally someone said it 👏🏻👏🏻, one thing I always love on them is their genre never goes too far from their original ones. They’re so creative and love to try different styles too yet whether it’s upbeat or slow ballad songs, Highlight remains keeping up their vibes. While other groups esp. the new ones have been drown to the cliche western edm, highlight didn’t go with the flow and look how the result gets, they still got that quality music as always
..ME TOO!!!..perhaps I am also biased because I only stan them...I think I stopped following groups since 2nd gens...after that there were too many groups who came in..Highlight is like a color that is never tainted by any colors today, and that is what I love most about them..I know they are still famous in Korea, but not so internationally like other groups with big fandoms..tho I know there are still many int'l fans too who supports them. But for them, they don't care about that fame, but only care about their fans. Knowing their history, their struggles and how they stick together always bring tears to my eyes, and that is the reason why I stayed with them. I hope I have that kind of friendship also. Highlight (Beast) is the only group that I still support after few years. For other boy groups I only support for a few months then I not interested. But HIGHLIGHT is the only group that I support since fiction till now. I loved their songs very very much no matter is now or previous album songs. And I will continue to support them! 😍
Listening to highlight feels like coming home. Back to when i was just starting to like kpop and every group gets along well and have performances together at the end of year, no fanwars and mv views are not a contest. For those who are new to HL, welcome! They're formerly known as B2st/Beast, and they debuted under CUBE in 2009 with 'Bad Girl'. They left CUBE in 2016. The five members (Junhyung, Doojoon - in military right now, Yoseob, Gikwang, and Dongwoon) formed their own entertainment company, Around Us. ENT. They are now all CEOs and compose all their music. I would recommend some older songs from them when they're still B2st: On Rainy Days, Fiction, Good luck, Beautiful, Shock, Midnight Sun, Soom, Bad Girl. (Side tracks: Freeze, I'm Sorry, Oasis, Gotta go to work, so hot, At that place, Butterfly). As Highlight, their debut track is 'Plz don't be sad' (A VERY GOOD SONG TOO!) and 'Can be better'. And for the other members, as far asoriginally planned to enliste together, but I'm not sure if that's still the case and if the government allows it, etc. ... But I think they enlisted around end of the year/first quarter of the next year.
Both Highlight and BTOB missing their leaders in the army but are still going strong. I believe with their strong bond. And now, they go to army one by one, and that makes me sad. Bangtan Shookyeondan i have been a fan of them since day one and have met them a couple of times back when they're just debuted. Till this day i still can recalled their faces closed up.. Now i will try to meet them as Highlight. I just feel so lucky having the chance to meet them as an international fan. And I didnt even pay anything to go tothe fan meeting and mini concert. I won the first prize in a contest and i brought my friend along to the concert. That was such a good experience..
...also they were one of the first who came to europe, which probably cost them so much money at the time....i'm so thankful and i'll forever remember my first kpop concert which was seeing them i still can't believe it, cause i got into kpop cause of beast, and then suddenly they came to my contintent lol

Another reason why I love them is because besides the brotherhood they have between them, they can be business partners successfully. Not everyone can do that. Even though you may be close to some of your buddies, not all of them can be business partners because you need to be on the same frequency and understand each other's way of doing things. HIGHLIGHT has achieved that level.

I think in the industry Highlight has the most respect and loyalty from me. Not once have they disregarded their fans in any way and they do their best to express their sincerity and appreciation for us through their rough and joyful times. Now I'm 24 , and still looking for their news all the time.. I remember their first song that got me into them .. It was SHOCK, and later.. They proved they had the best friendship and brotherhood bond, they left their company , started a new business and here we are .. Successful as before ..they can sing, write songs, dance, act, and for me they are one of the funniest idols in the industry along with SUJU.. They don't have a bad song.. I'm glad though that they decided to just change name and continue on instead of wasting time fighting for the name beast. Shinhwa lost so much time even though they did win and keep their name (which was a good thing especially fighting against such a big company like sment). I do think highlight couldve won if they did bring up a case to keep beast since shinhwa gives precedent but i would rather have new jams than have to wait a year or two for them to get their name back and then basically go straight into enlisting.

What makes me proud (always), is that whenever they release a song, you know its gonna be a bop, regardless of it being popular or not. And when you go to their MVs, the amount of positivity vs negativity is just too big.. And when you go through the comment section, you can feel that they are loved and respected not only by Lights, but by other fandom as well.. The nostalgia they bring whenever they sing is so strong and brings you back too old days everybody misses..

Am I the only one who got 2ng gen vibes from this? I mean today's kpop artist, while doing great, has this rather huge western influence on their songs, meanwhile here we have Higlight, who are, altough exploring new sounds, still retains their "vibe" , this distinct 2nd gen korean sound. Finally someone said it 👏🏻👏🏻, one thing I always love on them is their genre never goes too far from their original ones. They’re so creative and love to try different styles too yet whether it’s upbeat or slow ballad songs, Highlight remains keeping up their vibes. While other groups esp. the new ones have been drown to the cliche western edm, highlight didn’t go with the flow and look how the result gets, they still got that quality music as always
..ME TOO!!!..perhaps I am also biased because I only stan them...I think I stopped following groups since 2nd gens...after that there were too many groups who came in..Highlight is like a color that is never tainted by any colors today, and that is what I love most about them..I know they are still famous in Korea, but not so internationally like other groups with big fandoms..tho I know there are still many int'l fans too who supports them. But for them, they don't care about that fame, but only care about their fans. Knowing their history, their struggles and how they stick together always bring tears to my eyes, and that is the reason why I stayed with them. I hope I have that kind of friendship also. And I am going to miss them dearly when they will all go and serve their country.

Highlight (Beast) is the only group that I still support after few years. For other boy groups I only support for a few months then I not interested. Listening to highlight feels like coming home. Back to when i was just starting to like kpop and every group gets along well and have performances together at the end of year, no fanwars and mv views are not a contest. For those who are new to HL, welcome!
They're formerly known as B2st/Beast, and they debuted under CUBE in 2009 with 'Bad Girl'. They left CUBE in 2016. The five members (Junhyung, Doojoon - in military right now, Yoseob, Gikwang, and Dongwoon) formed their own entertainment company, Around Us. ENT. They are now all CEOs and compose all their music.
I would recommend some older songs from them when they're still B2st: On Rainy Days, Fiction, Good luck, Beautiful, Shock, Midnight Sun, Soom, Bad Girl. (Side tracks: Freeze, I'm Sorry, Oasis, Gotta go to work, so hot, At that place, Butterfly). As Highlight, their debut track is 'Plz don't be sad' (A VERY GOOD SONG TOO!) and 'Can be better'. Their sidetracks as Highlight are also amazing. Hope this helps!!!

Ikr. 2nd gen is always the legend. Of course, 1st gen is exceptional. I mean... I was 15 when i became fan of kpop like Shinee, suju, bb and beast.. I actually love a lot. And now, im 24 and loving the new gen which is bts and Ikon.. Sometimes, even if u love your current idol, you'll always go back to ur first loves.

Time flies so fast. I remember when they announced leave cube. I dont even worry about them, whether they will disband or they will go separate way, because I believe they won’t. I believe with their strong bond. And now, they go to army one by one, and that makes me sad. They even don’t ask Light to wait for them beside take care of ourself and its makes me more sad..they teach us so many good things 😭 I always remember when yoseob said when the fans wrote malicious comment to the other celebrity, since he receive those kind of comment as well “I know that feeling, so I said to not do that” Also when fans came to their dorm and scribbling there, and yoseob said “dont do to the public places, just do it on our car instead” 😭😭he is such a nice guy

A: No. This is their last comeback before MILITARY ENLISTMENT. They planned to enlist at the same time to shorten the gap of missing members in the group.

Bangtan Shookyeondan i have been a fan of them since day one and have met them a couple of times back when they're just debuted. Till this day i still can recalled their faces closed up.. Now i will try to meet them as Highlight. I just feel so lucky having the chance to meet them as an international fan. And I didnt even pay anything to go tothe fan meeting and mini concert. I won the first prize in a contest and i brought my friend along to the concert. That was such a good experience..
...also they were one of the first who came to europe, which probably cost them so much money at the time....i'm so thankful
