Thank you for your nice video. I remember growing up in the '60's with the knowledge that a school desk would protect me from a Nuclear detonation. I later served in the Army during the Cold War and went to a special military school (CBR Chemical, Biological, Radiological, the only training I ever had with both Officers and Enlisted training together in the same class. I learned that any of the three classes of weapons would be too terrible to contemplate.
@@marke8323 First, we truly appreciate your service. I also remember duck and cover. The Minuteman Missile Historic Silo brought back several memories.
We took the tour last year of the silo. It was very interesting. You only have to be able to climb a ladder if the elevator breaks. Our Ranger had actually worked in the silo in his younger days!
Hear you are in Fort St John !! Are you travelling to Alaska? There is a 12,500 year old cave by Charlie Lake that is a point of interest. Indigenous people were using it dated back to 12,500 years
Interesting. Thanks guys, I'll add it to my to do list....God Bless.......
@@prepper1013 It's a great place to visit.

@@juliehinkle7234 Very cool. Two bad knees kept me from climbing, but how wonderful to have a ranger who worked on it leading your tour.
