  • Giants signed rookie RB Dante Miller, who by all accounts could be an impressive prospect in camp. His personal story, absurd NCAA/NFL rules, and Giants depth chart could all add up to a walk on role in 2024.
The guys also discuss the OLine, which no surprise struggled on the interior to protect the QB. Adam wonders if Evan Neal's struggles would open the door for Big Blue to take Joe Alt at the top of the draft.

Good stuff by the way, I had a busy yesterday. Getting close to draft time, Green is somebody I hadn't really looked at, and all in on Odunze.

George Young said " There are only so many big people in the planet." In other words, if the grade is similar, draft the LINEMAN!

It's ironic when I'm subbed to Fireside Giants with Alex and Anthony. I'm also subbed to OGP with Adam and Andy! Wow 😮😮

This what the NY Giants should do... with #6 pick: Joe Alt, OT, 6' 8", 315 lbs., 5.05/40 time, Notre Dame, with #47 pick: Johnny Wilson, WR, 6' 7", 235 lbs., 4.52/40 time, Florida State!

trading down in my mock drafts have produced time & time again quality players with 5/6 players being starters & a qb that can sit for a year.

IMO, Evan Neal does have an opportunity at ROT but I honestly think Eleumenor is the odds on favorite to start there. If it were up to me long term I'd be planning for Neal to be a swing tackle and take some of the pressure off him. Thinking of what the outlook is if Andrew Thomes is hurt. I believe Neal has played that side in college, no?

I want to see what Neal can do with better coaching before I give up on him.

My choice has always been Joe Alt. He started out as a TE and is a great athlete. Very intelligent. Ten year stud for the Giants. Games are won in the trenches

It will be a big mistake to pass on Nabers or Rome for Alt who's a LT and force him to play RT where he will 100% Struggle his rookie season

Agree. After getting some solid, if not exactly All-Pro, help for the OL, passing on a desperately needed elite receiver to not merely draft a top ten OT for the third time in five years but to once again draft a LT to play out of position at RT is, bluntly, moronic. I don't care if he's elected to the HOF after his rookie season, it's still moronic.

Yeah, there’s just a little… something here. Giants zero talk about OL? If Andy says QB is all smoke, being “all in on WR” could be too.

I'd feel better getting a true RT in the draft. Alt's talented, but his strength is the only real strength our OL already has.

I understand the logic, but this is the same GM, who drafted Eric Moore at left tackle one pic before the Cowboys drafted Michael Irvin back in 1988.

Neal might be a good swing tackle. He played mostly LT at Bama…maybe he just struggles on the right side?

It’s a fair point, remembering back at the time of draft at least pondering “why” Giants took a LT.
Not everyone is just a movable piece. Don’t think it’s over for Neal, but this offseason is the last chance.

I can understand the Alt selection, don't like it, id rather we really draft the QB or WR1
