As a native of Lausanne and a filmmaker myself I have been following your journey with great interest. Knowing how much work goes into these films, I just want to say a big thank you for sharing your journey with us. It takes some big cojones to do what you do and it helps us at home to dream bigger and better. Bon Vent et Qui vivra, verra!
Hi Piers. Thanks for your understanding of the work involved. It is a lot of work, but it's also total freedom of expression, (this is after 30 years of doing commercials and promos for clients). Grosses bises à Lausanne!
Hey Alex, I do enjoy that opening guitar work. They say what doesn't kill ya only makes you stronger, but I also think they are all dead ;) What a view.
Excellente musique, prochaine fois mets qqchose de Gall/Berger. Mon impression est que les Canaries est une destination ou l'ont peut hiverner en bateau. Peut-etre prochain hiver avec mon Dufour?Cheers.
Wish I could use popular music, but RUclips will block the video. Yes, it's a great place to winter. One of my neighbors has been coming down every year for the winter from Galicia for the past 20 years. And he's over 80!
Trailmarkings... they were my best friend while hiking the AT, that white blaze mark saved my life a few times. Although it doesn't stand out while hiking in a total whiteout snow storm. Question for you Alex, up hill or down, which did you find the hardest?
I think RAN was there. They seem to take their time and explore places off the beaten path like you. It makes both channels a little better than the majority.
Fantastic images and guitar on that opening sequence. Keep these great videos coming! Cheers.
One of my favorite RUclips tracks. Glad everyone seems to agree.
Impressionant le courage de se promener tellement, sachant, pour se filmer cela fait double distance ! Fair winds, I enjoyed all until now !

Good one. Your friends boat is nearly identical to mine. 381. Good to see them head out, hope to, some day.
Ron

Downhill my friend. Hurts the shins and knees. I had a feeling you did the AT. Big thumbs ups to you man!
Nice. I've only seen one other YT channel check out that town/marina (Boca de Cangrejo). That village looks so cool.
Really, and I thought I was the one and only... I've gotta go further off the path

Were they? I've been following them from the beginning and really enjoy there channel also. We've been bouncing messages back and forth.
Maybe not. I was thinking the Marina at 0:25 looked familiar, but on 3rd look - I may be mistaken.
get plenty of them and make wine or ferment it a bit further and make grappa
Yes, why not. Could be nice
you have to burn the outside or use gloves and knife
Yes
@@WindedVoyage I got hurt too, made wine and later took the alcohol with a pot still here now watching from Guanajuato Mexico 🇲🇽
