I love that the most recent book of scripture, Doctrine and Covenants, begins with "Hearken". To me it sounds as if the Lord is saying "I'm not done speaking to you. I am here, and I have something to tell you." God has not ceased to speak to us, His people. The work is not done yet, and so, the canon is still open.

Thanks Claudia! Yes, the Lord wants us to "hear" which is to listen AND to "ken" which is to know. We are to listen to know, listen to understand, listen to do. We must act on His word to bring it to full fruition in our lives. Appreciate the comment!😀
