    This is such an indepth video on Si. Infact, its the best video about this function. INFP. No wonder im so driven to experience the present moment.

      I'm glad you're enjoying them! Next one will be up in a few hours, actually.
      Edit: Shouldn't have said that. Something came up and I'll be busy for the next few days.

    Very nice, though sometimes you described Delta Si as Si in general. For example, making things as simple as possible is more tied to the Si+Te economy rather than just Si itself, you need only look at how Alpha NTs tend to overcomplicate theories to see what I mean.

    Would a high Se user be better at "Si things" like *attending to their hygiene regularly or diet* than someone who has Si higher in their "stack"?
    Like even though Si is higher in say an INFP or an ENTP. I noticed high Se users are better at keeping up with those types of "Si things". I could be wrong but it was just something I noticed.
    I would assume a high Se user needs to take care of those things in order to stay as active as they want. So it got me thinking, even though someone who has Si higher on the stack, they still have Se even far lower. So they wouldn't value taking action (physically) as much, therefore their "Si needs" are attended to less. Even if attending "Si things" would help them stay metaphysically active.
    Just some thoughts I was playing around with after looking at the wholesocionics website and assuming those concepts are true about each function. Which I think they are.
    P.S. - I come from MBTI's ways of things.

      Oh, I see. Glad to see you're learning Socionics! And yes, you'd be right about everything here. Once I get to the function positions and the types themselves, that kind of thing will become very apparent. A Sensing type is going to be strong with both elements (Se and Si), however one of them is going to be valued over the other. The same example is true for Intuitive types, Logical types, and Ethical types.

    Extremely helpful video thank you. Very clear about the functions thanks to you. Have you ever considered doing a whole analysis of each type? May I know s'il vous plaît what type are you?

      I'm glad you enjoyed! And yes, I will be doing an in-depth video on each sociotype in the future, but for now I'd like to focus more on the base components of the model. As for the type, I've always thought myself to be ILI, though I have considered IEI and LII in the past.

    wow
    so far it looks like Si Se differ far more from Jung than the others
    could you qualify this a bit?
    which deviate a lot or not much? I dont expect the perfect answer, I only want to calibrate. Sooner or later I can see it myself then

    What does balance mean in Si types?

    • @brainsjourney4187
      @brainsjourney4187  5 лет назад +1

      Homeostasis, generally. The desire to return to a comfortable and well-managed survival state.

    I find Si inferiors struggle with overeating more than Si dominants.

    Si is also a very detailed subjective memory function. Very good at recalling.
    I love your lectures.

    • @brainsjourney4187
      @brainsjourney4187  5 лет назад +2

      Thank you! It means a lot. In Socionics, Si isn't tied too much to memory, but in MBTI, it is definitely very important, yes.

      You’re right about socionics. I just like to take points from any system that I find to be true. Both MBTI, socionics, and other typology systems teach me something that one system might not point out.
      Socionics, Keirsey’s Temperments, Berrens Interaction Style and even Vultology/Cognitive Type finding on type theories I find to help.
      Just keep up the good work I love socionics.
