even at a very young age, [y/n] had always been a lover of music. she put her all into her hobbies, becoming a professional at singing even as a kid. the one thing [y/n] fell short of in was friends.
she didn't have the best of skills in communication, and even withdrew herself when it comes to daily group activities given by the teachers in school. the way she acted made her seem like an untouchable flower of sorts, always to be seen but never touched.
that was until soo-ae came along, all bright-eyed with an oustretched hand smeared with chocolate as she greeted [y/n] just as warmly as she hugged the girl. soo-ae was different.
there were no barriers between the two friends- no conflict too large, no argument too long, and absolutely no need to hide anything from the other.
and that's why soo-ae was the first of [y/n]'s kindergarten classmates to learn that [y/n] was flying abroad for a few years to hone her singing.
