- Dealing With A Vehicle Problem & Major Progress On The City! | Building Mygeeto City In LEGO! Now that this lego star wars moc is in it's new home I am anxious to get it finished so I am gonna get a huge chunk of the city foundations in and start adding the finishing touches to the first section. I'm also testing to see if my tri droid can stand on its own and trying to figure out how to build it's domed head. all coming at you via lego time lapse builds!

You should but the walking artillery on the lower bridge if it will fit
You should have used the duplo brick support beam idea I informed you of last week
You could put the walking artillery on the maintenance bridge, where it fires towards the seperatist canon
That’s what I was thinking. I believe that the maintenance bridge is the best spot for it. It would fit and be able to fire artillery up into the city and into the tunnel

Yeah agreed I was thinking the same thing. It looks like it would add a bigger focal vehicle on the lower bridge
I think it should be aiming upwards at the tri droid, which would give the battle a lot of verticality making it super epic. And lore wise you could just say, that the Republic started the battle by taking the maintenance bridge in a suprise attack,to support their main advance from below

I think you should make a brick built head, because none of the planets will look good enough, and it will take away from the design. As you said in the video the brick built one will also be better scaled.

You could have the UT-AT falling off the bridge like in the movie after the octaparra droid shoots it
Seems I've run into my yearly medical problems, but I'm better and happy to be back! It's good to see Mygeeto updates again because it's looking so good! I think that the brick built Tri-droid head would be my preferred choice for the moc. As for the walking artillery, I think the maintenance bridge could be a good spot. Keep up the great work man!

For the tri droid, i would use the moulded planet for the head, and if its the wrong colour, you could spray paint it. If they arent the best size, the brick built one would be the only option i guess. Unless there is another alternative? The city is great btw. Keep up the great work.
The way the white, grey, and red all match the Galactic Marines is just perfect. The moc is looking amazing.

I think you could have the cannon being exploded/falling off the bridge so it takes up less space. You could also put it on the lower bridge.
You should put the small Republic artillery Cannon at the back of the small bridge shooting at the top Bridge.
The ingot path looks great. It has an awesome cobblestone vibe. It reminds me a lot of some of the roads in Savannah.
you should put the clones walking artillery cannon on the maintenance bridge helping win the battle down there!
Btw those buildings being close really gives it a city vibe.
Besides the building the broken bridge is the best part of your build
Move the awesome UTAT back and put the artillery cannon on a small landing pad in the front right corner of the moc. Build it lower down than the bridges shooting up at the separatist cannon. Great video man!
for the tri-droid you could also consider using the large quarter-dome pieces
Awesome progress! I definitely think that you should go with the brick built design for the tri droid so it is easier to attach pieces on it and it is not in a set size like the planet piece!
You could make the part of the building that hangs over the main road look like it had been hit with artillery so it doesn't hang over the road.
You could put it of on the maintenance bridge right where it cuts off now and have it rain fire over the bridge and onto the separatists above, that would make strategic sense because then it would be harder for the seppies to hit
Each episode this build continues to get better and better, if you have space maybe try the artillery Canon on the lower maintenance bridge, firing either at the top of the mountain or at the tunnel entrance.

You could make a LAAT/C drop the walking cannon in a different part of the moc.

It's good to be back! I think I prefer the Tridroid brick built since that will allow for more accurate colors and scale.
Walker tank climbing the right-hand side of the cliff, firing towards the smaller bridge to offer fire support to the troops down there. Could also put two or three spider/crab droids climbing from the small bridge entrance to counter attack. You can include a few jet troopers as infantry support for the tank or as an independent unit trying to ingress into the right plateau to disable the factory on that side.
That's a cool idea.

Might be an idea to place snow piles around the edges of buildings or away from the edges of paths to better sell the cold snowy atmosphere of mygeeto especially in small patches on some buildings
If you extend the short bridge to the end of the table, you can put that small canon on it and it will look like it’s raining hell from below
You could maybe put the clone artillery on the maitenance bridge aiming up at the droid forces.

You could put the custom artillery cannon on the bottom bridge or find a place for it on either the lower or upper plateau, like it’s going around and flanking the main droid attack on the main bridge
I think you should go with the brick built for the try droid head because it will get more details on it and you can do whatever size you want. Great video
I think a brick built head is gonna be the best move. I think going with a planet brick is gonna look like a cop out.
The custom artillery should go on the end of the little bridge. More often then not artillery can't see their targets so it makes sense.
What about a dropship carrying the artillery? Perhaps flying closer to the ground. Maybe it clears the deadspace velow the bridge.

I'm really excited to see it finished I think it could be my best moc yet.
Well the utat has to be on the main bridge to match the scene from revenge of the sith in my opinion so you could put the canon on the lower bridge i guess or it might have to be cut out the moc you could use atrts charging at the enemy like how knights used horses that could look cool
You could make a destroyed bridge or a crash landed shuttle Sepratist or Republic
That would be totally sick. Part of an ARC 170 sticking out of a destroyed bridge with fire and droid bits everywhere
Put the walking cannon on the little bridge and have it fire on the tri-droid
You should use the big beige dome pieces like on the mos eisley cantina and just repaint them like decalling the clones. I think scalewise those would fit great.
Maybe the artillery walker could be scrapping the rock face or the bridge supports like a at-te.
If you like building Mocs with lots of vegetation, I suggest building places like endor (or any other planets that you like)

I’d love to see you try the brick built tri droid head
Keep the ut at at the back and extend 5e smaller bridge a little bit to fit the republic artillery gun, maybe you could build a droid gun Im placement in the mountain to have it fight. Or have one in one of those buildings on the second story, keeping the clones pinned on the bridge
do what works for the placement on certain things. keep what works. look forward to seeing the battle take place.

You should do the tri droid head brick built but tile it off so it looks clean.

8:08, I really think you should keep the ut-at, it’s a staple, but you should move it to the back of the bride where the artillery is. Then either you completely remove the artillery or you could move it onto the maintenance bridge.
If you’re worried about not fitting straight between the two holes that are in the side of the bridge. I think a little bit of dynamic angling would look great. Having it openly avoid those two holes would be pretty cool.

I think the brick-built method for the tri droid would be better, you'd be able to get the right colours and maybe just tile of as many studs as possible?
I've been out of the lego yt schene for a while but I still make sure too keep up with your videos.

Hey coconut, I think you should go for the stud built head bc it lets you be more creative and maybe pose Ki-Adi slicing it and it might be easier for the gun attachment, great vid keep it up!!
Put the cannon on the smaller service bridge.
Put one of the vehicles on the other bridge with a squad taking over that place so they can take out the artillery area to let the main push through then regroup with them
Definitely should do the brick built head for the dri troid, the planet will look weird and won't be in scale
You should put the ut at farther back on the main bridge and move the walking artillery to the secondary bridge
For the Tri droid you should do brick built as it would look more accurate compared to the accuracy of the planets
Put the cannon on the lower bridge, maybe getting hit by the droid proton cannon?

You could put the cannon that you were talking about on the mant Maintenance bridge. Or you could make the bridge longer. Probably not though just an idea.
I think you should get one of the planets and paint it to look like the tripod droid
You don't have to change anything but in the city the ramp for the vehicles just ends and then there's the side walk so maybe you could make like a road road that goes through it like a crosswalk

it might suck but could you maybe make the ut-at smaller and more in line with the arty? like obviously longer, but just thinner and shorter? and maybe place the arty somehwere else or hanging off a crater like its about to fall?
The UT-AT is more important so I would rather keep that the same size, I might try flying the artillery in with a drop ship.

I have 48 by 48 base plates. The only problem with them is that you can't connect anything to the bottom. But yeah, 16 by 16 is not the biggest.
I'm talking about regular plates not baseplates.

Also, although u like the UTAT and you need to have one in the mod, I think just cut the size a bit (maybe design a new one as the one you have build looks amazing

You should go with planet so it’s super roundmaybe use a spinner and put guns on top of the spinner then put the planet above that
Random question that came to mind, you said you don’t want to use duplo bricks and I understand why, but I’m wondering how much time it would save you? Them support pillars look like they could take a while to build
They come together pretty quick! Plus the smaller bricks are easier to store.
