I prepare because life is not secure and people can’t depend on the government or others to take care of your family that responsibility is mine and I would rather spend my money on survival than not do anything. It’s just irresponsible to do nothing
I had picked up a Ecoflow Delta 1000 and also a River Pro with a spare battery. From a long term survival standpoint I'll probably only rely on them to run my stoker coal stove in the winter and to charge tool, flashlight and other batteries. Given a long term power outage I can't see how I would be able to keep my refrigerator and chest freezer running which is a shame for the food spoilage that would surely occur. I have prepped with lots of food that doesn't need refrigeration so my Wife and I won't starve. After Floyd and Sandy, and the power outages they created, we bought a 22kw whole house generator but the 400 lbs. of propane wouldn't last very long trying to keep everything up and running. It would be interesting to see if I could keep the chest freezer cold enough by just running the generator 1 or 2 hours a day. That would definitely make the propane last a lot longer and allow me to charge my Ecoflow generators and to pump water from my well. Doing two hours a day should allow it to last at least 48 days. Of course none of the solutions requiring fuel will last forever, when fuel is no longer available, so it's nice to have the Ecoflow generators and a solar panel for charging them. As always you did a great job with this video and i can't thank you enough for your knowledge and your willingness to share it. You can be proud of yourself in the knowledge that when a crisis comes there are people staying alive because of the fantastic work you've done. Again, thank you.
Evening JR...I finally pulled the trigger and bought a "larger" solar generator and was thinking a "smaller" companion generator would be useful. This one is interesting and I think this one may go on my short list. 👍
Well even though I have the other 2 Ecoflow generators, I decided to go ahead and order this Ecoflow River 2 Pro. The more of these type of generators I have the better. Allowing me more time to charge one while using others. I really like that it's capable of using my 220w solar panel to charge it. Thanks for the heads up and great review of this generator.
Picked up the River 2 Pro. There have been some articles suggesting possible blackouts this winter. Probably not alone in that line of thinking so EcoFlow should probably give 10% to 'the Big Guy'. 😄
Very informative content, JR. Answers some good questions I had. As always, time well spent. Your communications skills get better and better. Good job, Friend.
Most people don't use the cigarette lighter cable. They should have included a cable for solar panels instead of the cigarette lighter cable or at least the choice of the two cables.
I would have liked to see a example of the UPS they state it can act like. While plugged in and passing power through to a lamp and when the grid goes off it changes over to battery after 30ms. Just to check it out. Thanks anyway for the review.
Maybe you need to check out the INERGY solar generators one can stack up to 96 batteries and another can join to a second Company hires veterans and was created by veterans

I've always preferred the ecoflow over the other competitors. Like jackry
Not trying to knock anyone else, but there is a reason why I keep working with Ecoflow. They consistently produce good stuff.
Great video JR. I really need to get one of these. Looks like a good option. Cheers from Alberta!
Thank you!
You can fast charge those in your car. Hook up a 1500 watt power inverter to the car and use the ac charger....
