all of your tutorials are so helpful, thank you
But his voice volume is always so low
I like to put rhythmical foley samples into a convolver with some delay (like 1/16) and maybe some rhythmical gating.
Furthermore removing the sub frequencies of IRs is often a good idea, especially when you don't have a limiter on your master bus.
Great tutorial by the way. I have never thought of reversing my IRs, thanks.
biggest thing i got out of that was hype for the new track XD
geez
Fricking love this! I could listen to the solo'd reverse convolution reverb on its own for ages!
Congrats on fifty! Really interesting sounds.
I didn't expect to see Woulg referenced here.
Good shit. Gives me a lot of ideas. Like you could take a sound that is modulated in some way, like pitch, volume og panning, over a longer period of time. Could potentially get some really interesting results. Or what if you use a melodic sound clip as your IR? Definitely gonna play with this.
Be careful using melodic clips! It can easily become a screeching metallic mess. (You definitely want to low-pass them first)
If your melodic clip isn’t in tune/in the same key it can also sound really odd. But with Ableton’s extensive sample manipulation capabilities you should be fine.
Insane trick! It gives a lot of ideas. Thanks Bill!
Cool trick Mr. Bill
Beautiful video Mr. Bill. Thank you for taking time into this and piecing it together step- by step. Also you gotta love it when the Software is a little buggy =^]
hey Bill! awesome vid man, your music is sick! Keep up the good work. Would it be possible to show the keybaord commands you use when you do you tutos ?
Love this tip sounds great!
great advice! thanks for sharing!
Hey Bill!
Do you only write and focus on one track at a time till it's done or do you work on multiple tracks and just go back and forth to whichever one you feel more inspired to work on?
What's up with him having his default EQ eight being in mid side by default? Does he do that cuz he uses it most often or does he literally mid side everything.
Will you be doing any basic engineering vids? my mix and masters could use some help. def would like to see one. or guide me to the vids if you already have them.
So cool!
Really cool
at 9:40 how do you record the drum beat from the Audio channel? I saw that you moved it to (resampling) Just curious about this please answer anytime no rush.
I don't get what your question is, it's the resampling mode man
