The important thing in my opinion is that Ninja Kiwi still updates the game so there will at least be a constant flow of new content to play
Agreed at least they are adding new and unique stuff into the game just so people can enjoy it, unlike some other games like tf2 or overwatch now those are mega dead games that never get major updates

@@heatran4109 I mean tf2 has gotten even more broken since the 100 player count has been added and vsh keeps breaking in casual, there hasn't been any new weapons since jungle inferno and no heavy update, so it's sorta major since they finally added vsh and I like the new version of vsh with vscript included and if it's just new maps since there has been maps added for screamfortress and smissmas but having new maps is nice depends on the gameplay mostly

Been playing for 3 years and still have so many black borders to accomplish and things to collect. Still having a blast with it.The amount of content provide for the price is amazing. I hope they have a console version at some point.

I thought the same thing before but now I have all heroes and 5 blackboards so I don't feel like I can do anything else that is why I am excited for the next update they are the new boss phayze which can be a bit difficult which is good what makes btd6 a good game is the difficulty which is way I agree mrender1 we need a new difficulty to revive the game is just not the same anymore

my reason its still fun is that it provides freedom that in so many ways on how you want to start the game like what towers you use, how you position them and what map you play on. Gets fun early, mid, late game you can chose how you start the each of them like play an odyssey, boss or regular maps. If you are done with everything go co op to help others earn rewards, skills, or not. Use mods to challenge yourself and get creative towers that the community made. Overall lot of players join new and have the old generation of players to follow and get help, I still know that some players will leave but that doesn't matter just keep pushing to get past peoples opinions and expectations to be at the peak of what it made it great. :)
Me that haven’t beat alternate Bloons round
For now i have almost 1000 hours in BTD6 (940 To be exactly) I play it since 2021, I think the game is incredible, and after 2 years i still dind't got Veteran Levels, But the one thing that for me is boring in BTD6 is the odysseys, It kinda get repetitive, But i still play it because BTD6 never get boring for me.

btd6 is a game i discovered in 2018 and i didn't think much of it because i was playing btd battles tell 2021 when i started playing btd6 after seeing an isab vid and after that i was hooked if i had to say the least i started playing and grinding it was fun trying new strategy's and having fun with it playing random maps with random towers you don't know what's gonna happen the next round was quite the experience and after two years right now I'm still having fun even though the game right now doesn't feal the same but trying challenges and just doing whatever comes to mind is just how i see this game i love these monkey's and these ballons even more i love the new updates it's really a fun game if you agree or not bloons is an experience that you need to give it a shot

As someone who had this happen to me, I'll share what fixed it for me: I got into modding the game. I started creating my own mods and implemented content I'd dreamed of since all the way back in 2011 when I first played BTD5. BTD6 never really caught my attention like 5 did until I started modding it, it really makes it a whole new experience to enjoy. (Also try messing around in sandbox mode. I probably spent more time making my own stories and games in sandbox mode than actually playing the game back in the BTD5 days, and BTD6 has an even better sandbox mode.)
They need to add a mod list without instaling a mod list
Its not just that the game has gotten easier(it has, with nk buffing a lot of towers to make them viable) but you also have to realize that you have gotten a lot better at the game.
There really is no true improvement tho. Like you get near perfect tower placements, understandanding of the meta and all upgrade before level 80. I mean its literally a game about placing monkeys and upgrading them to stop balloons. It's not particularly challenging to learn. Whilst btd5 was really tough. Btd6 feels like a sandbox game. There's all this you can do but none of it is challenging.
@monotrojan thats why people make their own challenges, if you don't continue you to push yourself, of course it'll get boring.

The problem for me is that the early game rounds feel very slow,while later game rounds feel quite fast, despite it actually being swapped. The normal bloons feel more like a time waister rather than being there to challenge you. You've been through the hoops countless times. I think it would be interesting to see the game start on (for example) round 20, giving you the money you would've earned up til that point and have you beat up to round 100 (for hard) and 120 for the chimps/impoppable gamemodes.

They need to add a new MOAB class bloon called K.Y.S
A great concept for that would be to make that MOAB force players to spend hundreds of hours to come up with a strategy to beat the balloon. Whoever beats the balloon can get an achievement made in their name.
I got more then 1000 portable lake in btd6 with my monkey money and I can assure you that it is worth it

One simple word to combat this has 3 letters and starts with a m and end with a d and to ramp it up its mods
years ago i used to play btd 6, back then, bloonarius was the hardest thing in the game, paragons looked cool, new heros were cool, there were tons of maps to try, but i quit eventually to the ever growing boredism of the same thing over and over again.
i came back to bloons tower defense 6 like a month ago to find out much more... new paragons, bosses, maps, heros, towers, quests, it was amazing
next thing ik, boss bloons seeming hard werent anymore, like as soon as phayze came out i slapped it back to its dumpster of a home. and im starting to figure out the strats that i can just spam to beat chimps or something
its starting to get boring again and i hope ninja kiwi update the game for more bosses, heros, hero skins, towers, maps, gamemodes, secrets, quests, and anything inbetween. but luckily im hanging on by that thread to keep going and trying to play the game a lot, but hey its worth it, just beat flooded valley hard mode first try :D
my point is, btd6 will hopefully get updated to add new stuff and increase the player base a ton.

i never thought i would say this but...
add mastery mode to btd6, BUT. MAKE IT ACCESSIBLE WITHOUT CHIMPS BECAUSE I AM NOT GONNA PLAY MAKE 30+ CHIMP STRATEGIES JUST TO PLAY THE UPDATE.
btd6 now really needs Mastery mode, adn without chimps needed, you can access it quote early after you finish most content and start getting bored.
I dont think the problem is the game being worse now, the problem is just that it's almost impossible to make a game still fun after playing for 8 billion hours.
Maybe the problem is that once you play one game… it’s the same strat for every game? Like for bosses they are all similar strats and for maps you’ll finish them eventually (as well having a main strat for the entire game)
If they added mod support then the game would be sooooo much better. I have mods because i got bored

The problem isn't the difficulty or anything else you mentioned, its the absolute lack of any sort of strategy, the game never forces you ro actually think. All the bloons are the same except that some have immunity but that doesn't actually require any thinking, its just moving you cursor half a centimeter to the side to put down a tower that bypasses the immunity. Moab class bloons are also the same just different hp, and that leads to later round feeling exactly like the earlier ones because monkeys are stronger and bloons just have more hp, which means the dynamic is exactly the same.
The problem with no thinking being required is that the only skill really needed in td games is strategic thinking and if thats removed then the game becomes a nothing game.

Idea for a harder difficulty that works like easy,medium,hard. It will be named "bloon" and the new things will be costs are 10% higher than impopable mode speed also faster like it was for the other difficultys and to make things different you start with 800 cash and 25 hp but you start on round 5 and for this mode there will be a new ballon called bomb ballon that will explode when killed and that explosion will stun towers in range of a 0-0-0 dart monkey would have and the bomb ballon would have the stats of a green ballon (speed and layers/hp)for like lets say 2 seconds and the stun includes even the abilities and the max round would be 100 beacose 120 isnt anything special and would be too long and the bomb ballon would spawn on round like 20 and then they would spawn by how much depends on ninja kiwi

Btd is only boring because it’s not difficult enough (with the exception of expert chimps). Bosses are pretty boring because I detest the endless farming, and races are only boring when they’re long and/or laggy. Other than that it’s a lot of fun

I think id add bloons like... A DDT BFB. TORCHURE IS FUN WHEN YOU PLAY VIDEO GAMES. and i guess make a mode like Intense or Expert. Then we could add a make your own tower mode. Now, to balance it, the game will rate the price and maybe tell to nerf. also if they dont add map maker like then promised theyed add in update 39 (they said theyll add it durung end of update 37 patch notes) add it here.
