Oh now I completely get all the hype around Frank, and yes I have heard ONE song by him so anything else will be new to me! Видеоклипы
Frank Sinatra-aka Ol’ Blue Eyes” is an absolute all-around legend. His voice goes without saying. His acting was top shelf as well.
Your dance moves need a separate reaction 👏👏👏. Next Frank- “MY WAY”
Lmao thanks and ohhh yeah more Frank definitely coming!!!!!!
"Like Frankie said, 'I did it my way!'" -Bon Jovie 👍
@@Amaranthos2 did you know Frankie was Jon Bon Jovi's uncle!!!🤘🤘🤘🤘
They don't make them like they used to. Frank Sinatra was such a smooth crooner. This is before auto tuning. Artists had to be really able to sing. And the lyrics were clean, romantic & really meant something. He has a huge library of great songs.
Hell I can sing good with autotune 🤩
He was called "THE CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD" because he effing ruled vocals and popularity. He was a triple threat, could act, dance and sing. Also such blue, blue eyes! He had the best timing of any singer to this day
My mom took me to see him as a teenager and I loved him she played him all the time I know all his songs he is the best croner ever ❤
Legend 🙌🏾🔥🔥🔥🔥
I love Frank! He was a favorite of my parents and grew up listening to him. No one can do the standards like him. So glad you are digging deeper into his music. 🤩
With the legendary Count Basie and his Orchestra, one of the greatest names in jazz. It doesn't get any better than this. If there was a Mount Rushmore of male vocalists, Frank's face would be the first one they'd put up there. Before the Beatles, before Elvis, there was Frank. He came before all of them, and he stayed around making hits long after all of them. Here are several more Frank Sinatra classics to check out: "Witchcraft," "The Best Is Yet to Come," "All the Way," "Luck Be A Lady," "It Was A Very Good Year," "That's Life," "My Way," and the one you've probably already heard but didn't know it, "Theme from 'New York, New York.'" That oughta get you started.
The Count Basie Orchestra was the most-swinging big band ever. The best rhythmic section and the tightest brass sections.
This is the fun, clean, classy music from one of the A-List Rat Pack members....what a talent!! You can't help but smile when you hear 'ol Frank!! Pure joy. Thank you AB for the smiles, and the laughs, and your cute dance!!👏👏👏❤️❤️
Another Rat Pack member is Sammy Davis Jr. Some of his best songs are "Mr. Bojangles" - "That Old Black Magic" - "The Candy Man" Another LEGEND!!
Frank wasn't only excelleant in his singing career ,but like the other Rat Pack members,he had a very good acting career too.Frank actually hold an Oscar for best supporting actor for the movie From Here To Eternity
Always liked this song, the lyrics are fun and whimsical. Frank's vocals are stellar as usual. Not to mention the accompaniment is fantastic! 💯
The incomparable Count Basie Orchestra swinging like no one else...
I serenaded my friend from memory to this song, but the cherry on top was when we were serenading each other looking into each other's eyes.I will never forget it.
Man I love Frank Sinatra. His voice is so smooth. Ol' blue eyes himself. He was such a talented man.
I missed the way he came in after that brass section exploded - can you run it back one more time??? 🤣
Here I am again the old lady. I am 75 yrs old and believe it or not, Frank was before my time. Loved your reaction and commentary.
Thank you so much 💗..I miss this kind of music...and he does lightly...effortless
Smooth personified. His signature song is My Way. He wasn't just in the Rat Pack, he was the reason the Rat Pack existed. They called him the Chairman of the Board. Another great Sinatra song is That's Life.
Thanks for the dance, I enjoyed that thoroughly . If you do Frank, you have to do “My way” .
Arranged by the legendary Quincy Jones and accompanied by another true legend Count Basie.
Frank was the boss!
Such a true Crooner. So smooth and cool 😎
The era of the smooth crooners. Love it!
Wow I love Frank Sinatra, my grandmother, my mother all listened to him. I grew up listening still love him. Legend 👏👏👏
Great!!!! reaction!. I don't mind if you bring it back. It's Frank..Mimosa Frank:) and you are so fun to watch
Frank is the coolest entertainer there ever has been. Gawd that voice.
I’m enjoying, how much you’re enjoying this song. Don’t get me wrong the song was stellar, but your reaction was pure happiness
You want to hear his vocal range even more than “My Way” is a must! Frank’s was a bad man!
Honestly, Frank was the first modern "superstar." He led the way for all the other artists. Fantastic voice and undeniable charisma. And an Oscar-winning actor as well. We love to listen to "Ol' Blue Eyes" in our house. Glad you enjoyed him. Cheers!
I like that.. a Frank Mimosa!! 😁🥂
I don’t think you can pick a bad one for him, he’s just old school smooth.
The rat pack was an A list group of celebrity friends who often performed together in movies and on stage. Dean Martin and Sammy Davis Jr were members too. I know you like movies, they did the original Ocean’s 11 waaaay back in the day. You can have a lot of fun with this rabbit hole and take it in a lot of directions!! Have fun, AB!! 😁🙌🏻
Absolutely nailed it. I love every member of the Rat Pack but Dino will always be the top for me. The day I heard Dean Martin passed away, I wept like a child. Even more than the day Elvis died (another legend!). Even now, I get misty thinking of him. Such a great bunch of artists!
Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Sammy Davis Jr, they owned Vegas. Getting into their music is opening up a whole new world. Diving in you may as well add Bing Crosby to your list as well. They all sang and even did movies together
Excellent reaction! You got it. And great chair dancing. Keep doing more Frank. Love it. Cheers from Canada
Love Love Love this reaction AB !!! Total dig your dance moves, Thanks for the good vibes . Keep up the awesome job .
The technicality of singers during that time was mind-blowing. The recording equipment in those days did not give the most crisp result. Singers had to be able to really project their voice and hold notes with a high technical degree. And yes, there are Sinatra fans still out there. I grew up listening to this in my grandmother's house and I still love to listen to him. He is also commonly known as "The Voice", "The Sultan of Swoon" (cuz girls would faint when he sang) and most popularly called "Ol' Blue Eyes"...............Okay, I think this officially makes me a nerd! LOL!
If you're a nerd , then You are My kind of nerd 🤓💖
Smooth! Frank Sinatra is the Old Goat. Great reaction AB! ❤👏👏👏👍
Thank you my friend!
You just put the biggest smile on my face!😁
Can't go wrong with Ol Blue Eyes!
Til next time☮
💯🔥💙🎼🤘
Good reaction bro lol..check strangers in the night..smooth operator from way back...any real man regardless of color or creed frank is epitome of a what it is to be a man, a gentleman
❤ your MOVES!
Amazing actor as well
He was also called The chairman of the Board. He was very cool, smooth and a legend.
I 💜LOVE how you LOVE💜 ALL the SONGS I LOVE💜 & grew up on. Lol. You are the Best👍🏼
Ole baby blue eyes!! lol my mom loved him
I love your reactions. You seem to be a lot of fun too. We need more fun!!
My grandma saw Frankie live in San Francisco when he was like 22yrs old... I love singing his songs, I have my whole life! Im only 37 though, guess I was raised right, lol
Your grandma is a legend sir 🙌🏾💙🔥🔥🔥
@@ABtheKreator yes she is! And the first black person she saw in real life was Nat King Cole on stage around that same time! 🤣
Boy! You've found the Crooners. Yes, he was part of the "Rat Pack". Here's another one to check out. "Sammy Davis Jr. - Mr. Bojangles (Live in Germany 1985)" this is a very large rabbit hole, my dear. lol But I look forward in taking the journey along with you. Great Reaction~
The joy of pre-autotuned music. I know, wherever you are, Frank, you're still singing.
Love me some Frank but this song always makes me smile remembering the movie “Space Cowboys”. Both classics, the latter starring a whole group of classics!!!
He was greatest singer.. but also great actor.. He was a tough guy who stuck to his friends.. but I wouldn't want to be his enemy. Girls tossed their panties long before Elvis.
Try "Bewitched Bothered and Bewildered" another one of his greats !
Saw Sinatra in concert in L.A. a few times…Chairman of the Board…adore his voice.
Awwww my husband used to sing this to our daughter when she was going to sleep as an infant because it calmed her so much ❤️
Ya.. GO AB DANCE SIR…💗💗♥️
It’s lit!!!!! Thank you 🙏🏾
My Way, next please
When he sang a song he made it seem like he was just singing to u. The best
The Voice
YES! Thank you. Try some Rat Pack music, now there's a group of talent. Frankie, Sammy, Dean, Joey and Peter. The original "Ocean's Eleven" crew. 😎
Classic!
Frank was the “chairman” of the Rat Pack…Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin❤️, Sammy Davis Jr., Peter Lawford & Joey Bishop. There’s a film, made 1998, entitled The Rat Pack, with a friend of mine playing Marilyn Monroe!! Frank’s good, but Dean Martin?? ❤️🤪❤️🤪❤️🤪❤️
If you want to go way back, check out "Polka Dots and Moonbeams" (1940), Frank's first hit with The Tommy Dorsey Orchestra. Second overall.
My all time favorite Sinatra song🔥🔥
You are adorable, Learning and listening to music I listened to as a teen, Great Job!
Lol nice
Old Blue Eyes, smooth warm crooner, never hear his like again.
Good music is timeless!
Facts🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Thank you for this reaction! Frank Sinatra was absolutely amazing, anything he did, he did extremely well.
Omg you have to listen to “My Way” 😍🌻
Should be in my Frank playlist 👍🏾🔥🔥🔥
Thanks for your videos as always! I just want to say I appreciate the fact that you cover such a wide variety of genres.
This song is opften used by figure skaters for one of their skating sections in competition It works beaiutiifully! Frank siatra was leading singe for a long tme Big Band Era in the 1940's until his death. He was also a fine dancer and actor,
AB the MJ of music reactors, your reactions are so so good.
Oh yes, the band is the best of the best - That's the Count Basie Orchestra aka The greatest band in the land. The sweet trumpet that made you ask who's that is Harry "Sweets" Edison. Mr. Bill Basie is on piano. The arrangement for this song, an important element to every song in this genre, was written by Quincy Jones, who also worked with Michael Jackson many years later, among many, many other artists. This song is among Sinatra's best. Witchcraft & The Lady Is A Tramp are among my favorites, as is his fabulous version of Love Is A Many Splendored Thing. He also does an incredible duet with Ella Fitzgerald on The Lady Is A Tramp. Ella recorded an excellent version of the song herself, & together, she & Frank created what is arguably one of the best duets ever!! So very, very many more songs to hear. The Sinatra rabbit hole is one every music lover should jump into to. You'll be so glad you did!!
I love the Frank Sinatra Bing Crosby duet from the movie High Society, "Well Did You Evah?" It's such a great scene/song and an excellent movie.
The conductor is MR. QUINCY JONES with the COUNT BASIE BAND.
Oh wow ok 👍🏾 thanks
AB I came across a guy who is doing remakes of the crooners today .. Tim Foust (from Homefree) is his name .. he has RUclips channel also .. maybe interesting to see him do a song or 2 ... and let's talk about bringing that the way these guys dressed ... smooth
AB is familiar with Home Free's music. I agree Tim's doo-wop music from the 50's-60's is great.
This is my fourth time watching one of your reaction videos, I love how much you get into the music. This one is special for me, because the band playing with Sinatra is the Count Basie Orchestra, I always know when its Basie playing and if there is ever any uncertainty the last three chords on the piano is Count Basie's musical signature. In the 70s and early 80s we were next door neighbours and we became very good friends with Count (William) Basie, so much so that I called him Uncle Bill. Sinatra made four albums with Basie one of which was Frank Sinatra live at the Sands in Las Vegas, (The Music of Count Basie and his Great Band...and the Man Frank Sinatra). Please can you do I've Got You Under My Skin from that Album.
listen to Kiss an Angel Good Morning by Charlie Pride. It is a great song! Also the Highwayman by the Highwaymen. they are so good. I love your reaction videos. You are real and not afraid to say what some are. Keep up the good work.
Oh ok thank you
I ripped onto my laptop all the Frank Sinatra CDs that my father had--more than 60 of them! And he had even more Sinatra on vinyl!
This song was originally named 'In Other Words' but everyone called it Fly Me To The Moon, so the later albums have both song names referenced.
Fly me to the Moon! It’s where you hear big band music. Ol’ Blue Eyes himself sings so smooth, and enchants you with Witchcraft! Frank Sinatra…the James Bond of the Big Band Era.
Of course Frank Sinatra has a lot of fans! He gets rediscovered every day. Even some of the music artists that perform today admit that they are fans of The Chairman of the Board.
Frank is a legend 🤣🔥🔥🔥🔥
Pure legend of music! Check out his song Luck be a lady!!
Spectacular song!!! It was also in the movie "Space Cowboys" with Clint Eastwood, Tommy Lee Jones and Donald Sutherland!!!! Well worth a watch!!!🎶🎼🎵🎤🥁🎸🎹🎷🎻🎺 Holy cow....come dance with me, AB!!!!💃💃 Enjoy the dive!!!
Crooners…. Please do another Rat Pack heavy weight, Dean Martin. My favorite is Everybody Loves Somebody…. Sometimes. Dean Martin was known as the King of Cool, by Elvis.
Please react to Cab Callaway and the Nicholas Brothers " Jumpin Jive ". I won't stop until you do !
Agree!!!! AB would love it.
@@scapito I can't wait to see his reaction 😍
He was one of my first crushes. I used to tell my Mother I would grow up and marry him.
Fire!
This was the Crooner genre 🙌
With all love to you, you will have a long, enjoyable gig as a reactor. There are so many of the mid-1900 musicians you have never heard!!
Try Frank's daughter, Nancy's "These Boots were Made for Walking."
Then go further back to the swing, and jazz, orchestras and singers. My father in law helped build up my daughter's leg muscles before she could walk by holding her upright on my in-laws' mattress and bouncing her while he danced to Glen Miller, and others. He actually got to see her walk after surgery at age 10.
My fav by Frank is High Hopes. You should listen to that one
If you are going to do 2 more, maybe do New York, New York and/or My Way. And Something Stupid (a duet with his daughter) :)
Love the Rat Pack...
Sammy Davis jr and
My favorite Dean Martin (not drunk)
Singing ...
Quincy Jones arranged for Sinatra. This is Count Basie too.
My mom always called him ol blue eyes.
Check out his Luck be a Lady Tonight
If you love Frank, Tony Bennett is another that comes to mind just like Frank Sinatra. I would recommend The Way You Look Tonight by Tony Bennet.
Side note: Frank Sinatra's daughter Nancy Sinatra had her own musical career. I think her most popular one was These Boots Are Made for Walking. Great song!!
I actually prefer Tony Bennett’s version of “Fly Me to The Moon” over Sinatra’s
I prefer Tony Bennett's fly me to the Moon 100% more. It's smooth it's relaxing. And Tony Bennett song The Good Life. ♥️❤️
And Dean Martin
By Frank try Strangers in the Night, New York New York, Summer Wind, My Way...and, if not already try, 2 from Wales: Tom Jones (I'll Never Fall in Love Again, It's Not Unusual, The Green Green Grass of Home, Delilah) and Shirley Bassey (aged 65 in 2002 singing Diamonds are Forever, Goldfinger on TV)
Uh ohhhh somebody knows Franky!!! Ok let me write these down 🙏🏾🔥🔥🔥🔥
Love, love, love Tom Jones. Matter o fact, I just requested Austin Brown (Home Free) to cover I'll Never Fall in Love Again. Fingers crossed, but the original is a TALL glass of orange juice.
You know his main producer and good friend was Quincy jones
I’m just finding you today & am going thru your back catalog, so this comment is rather late, lol, but if you see it please react to Frank’s version of When I Was Seventeen. It’s beautiful, soulful & melancholy all at once. You’re doing great, keep it up! 👍👍😄
👀🤞🏾🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
This song was played at the end of "Space Cowboys"
Sinatra.
'Nuf said.
❤❤❤❤🎄🎄🎄🎅🎄🎄🎄❤❤❤❤
The Jazz Singer.
No that really smooth whisky or scotch like glenlivet
