Nice work - I'll be repainting my kitchen cabinets soon and replacing the doors so your tips are very useful. A couple of questions if I may, by how much did you thin the paint down with water?, also how many coats do you typically do?

Of course mate! First do not put water in oil based paint what I'm using is white spirit, water should only be used on water based paints! As to how much, it really depends on how thick the paint is those Johnstones paints I dilute by about 10% but it isn't really a scientific! Usually two coats very rarely I've had to do three.

Moles breath (number 276) from farrow and ball for most of the cabinets and elephants breath (number 229) again from farrow and ball for the tall units!
