These commercial airports for civil aviation is actually ok to do planespotting, the policy about filming only apply on airports that are both used for civil aviation and military. So planespotting in shanghai is absolutely fine

actually there are many aviation lovers in china as well and the filming policy is not that strict in civil airport, but still a chance to be considered as spy by homeland security or local people😂
