Thought if you do a new revision of this in the future. make the box large enough where you can fit the tablet. and it could also serve as a way to hold the dice in during transport. then you can have all your stuff in the box.

the cork padding i saw coming as soon as the 3d model was shown... you've got to make the holder half's edges recessed below the tops of the dividers (with a full border of outside dividers), if that makes any sense. like a tupperware container inverted with the dice holder box attached to the underside of the 'lid', a little smaller than the full box size. that way they won't shake out and it's a much slimmer box. the cork pad you can then cement on the bottom so it doesn't scratch your ipad screen. how putting that box on top of the screen doesn't trigger your OCD is beyond me. haha
Honestly, that is pretty genius. They should sell that kind of quality and utility on a bigger scale.
What are the exact measurements for it? Might be interesting if someone wants to get into building one on their own.

Someone that I play with has something similar to this. He purchased a wood storage box from some hippie store in the local mall (The kind of thing likely to be used to store drugs). He cut chop sticks to length and glued them into one side of it so it would fit the width of sets of dice, and he put felt into the lid to make it a dice tray.

I designed and printed a treasure chest that held my die. It held 4 sets. It was great.
Sadly my computer crashed and I lost my 123d and STL files. I was heart broken.
Now I don't want to use it, in fear that it will eventually break.
I have been looking at making/buying something similar to this.
I also designed a dice tower that holds two sets of die. But I think it is cursed. It never rolled anything higher then a 15. So I stopped using it.
That sucks about your chest. It's funny you mentioned "cursed" with your dice tower. I have the same logic with my dice, trays, etc. I create the most ridiculous superstitions in my head. "This d20 is running out of luck, better give it a rest." "I can't cast Cone of Cold without my ice blue set!" "Don't roll force damage in the tray, roll it on the table instead, trust me." and so forth. It's all part of the fun.

Is it possible to repaint your dice if you aren't happy with the colour?
I wouldn't recommend it. The only time paint appears on dice is to color the pips. The dice color is determined by the plastic they are cast in. Painting dice sounds rather tedious but hey, nothings impossible!
This was GREAT! Excellent job, mate. I’m curious if you’re using it still being a year later? Before you mentioned it, I was noticing how the dice would be able to freely roll around with the lid like that. Is it still a problem or are you ok with the cork?
Thanks man! Yes, I still use it. I will admit I no longer roll in the tray lid. It's too small to accommodate enthusiastic rolling. The cork insert isn't ideal but I'm used to it at this point.

What were those little gold weapons in your binder?
They're laminated handouts of magical items or weapons that second as bookmarks. I draw them just for fun between sessions. In the vid is a magical longsword (Talon, LMoP) and a great axe forged from a melted-down steel bell.
