Nostalgic and awesome! Takes my memories back to the 1973 East African Safari Rally and the battle between the Datsun 240Zs of Shekhar, Fall, Aaltonen against the Porsche 911 Carreras of Waldegaard and Zasada.
@@jekanyika That's exactly why. Usually the rally drivers have a couple of hundred meters before the time control, after the finish line. This is because the drivers usually maintain a very high speed when they pass the finish sign. Having the sign less than 100 meters is therefore a danger for the officials and any spectators at the finish line.
@@jekanyika It is perfectly fine to have a sharp turn right after the finish signs and is also included in the notes/map, but often the finish signs are on a fast straight, but it is about the stretch from the finish sign to the time control where people usually gather and where the officials are, which this was about. 🏁🚗💨💨 😎👍

Yes 💯 golden days
Nice one. 😎
Top 💪👌🇵🇹🇰🇪
Nice 👍
😢
Nice video, 👌 but far too short braking zone at the finish, to feel safe, considering possible braking problems for the competitors. 🛑🏁🚗💨💨 🤔
It's a Rally

@@larszenthio1012 I've seen some rallies with corners immediately after the finish.

@@larszenthio1012 Fair enough. I'm probably just used to RSF RBR where some stages have hardly any braking zone.
It's like 90% 911s
I know these 911's are a good car, but man they sound crap!
