It's a great little detail that when Jake's creature bites Quaritch's Ikran, Quaritch yells in pain. Thanks to Tsaheylu, he's feeling what the Ikran is feeling.
Oh sh!t never thought about it that way

And the pregnant woman fighting 😂
1:49 You'd think with 10 years to prepare for this, the RDA could invent a material for aircraft cockpit canopies that is both see through and resistant to arrows...
Definitely :D
You know after everyone watching the first one tehy would see the humans as good guys
Their arrows hit with the force of a 50 cap rifle. Remember the arrows they are firing are huge.
It’s called cutting costs. U really think they r that interested in keeping their men alive? Oh please. The bigwigs think of their men as a dime a dozen. For every one they lose, they think 40 more r banging at their door. If no more r willing to join, well there is always bringing back slavery and forcing citizens to fight. Never underestimate the ego of the common human being especially when said human being has tons of money at their disposal.
@@TheBigExclusivea 50 cal has the muzzle velocity of 3,450fps. Nah bro, those arrows ain’t making a dent no matter the size.
Those who haven't watched should definitely watch
I am watching on my TV right now
The first battle was awesome.
But the second battle in way of water was a taken to another level.
You know a woman's badass when she goes into battle with late stage pregnancy.
Not badass. Just reckless.
James Cameron delivering another action masterclass.
And since it made a whopping 1.4 billion dollars at the box office after just spending a week in theaters, the other films are officially getting the green light. Looks like James Cameron will have his work cut out for him.
Calm down, Jim. We know it's you.
Who is ready for AVATAR 3?
Seems like a long way off.
When it comes to action like this, I prefer the action from the first film. Specifically the battle for Pandora
The stakes were so much higher in the first movie though. RDA was aiming for hometree, whereas this is more personal.
Really hope the RDA learn their lesson and start having thicker glass on their gunships in the next movie
Seeing this in the theater was such a different experience!
Love the part when Jake lead the ocean Navi army against the sky-people because he have more experience fighting them than the ocean Navi
The Na'vi should have been nuked by now.
1:48
Okay, that was a cool one, just like in the first movie in the last battle where Neytiri did the same thing.
"I took you under my wing, Jake. You betrayed me. You killed your own. Good men, good women." Questionable about good
No they were good.
@@Salty-Unggoy Massacring a native species to recover energy resources is morally questionable
@RagnarKorg3141 its not about morals. Its about them having what the rda wants. And they either fk off or die. The rda tried to settle the matter with as less bloodshed as possible and it didnt work. Now the gloves are off and they will get that unobtanium. Humanity first
@@Salty-Unggoy They destroyed their planet and came to another planet for resources they depleted, terrorized and wouldn't listen to the people NATIVE to that planet when they said they were destroying it. And were causing mass deforestation and destroyed their direct line to their ancestors out of pettiness because THEY wouldn't listen. They quite literally are destroying everything they touch like Tsu'tey said. Look at every place the RDA touches on Pandora it gets decimated and becomes a barren wasteland. Look at the glimpses of Earth. Over population, not wnough food, they had to clone thr siberian tigers to bring them back after they killed them all. I nelieve the oceans are poisoned and there is no nature. The planet is dead. And they are tryingnto do to same thing to the Na'vi and trying to get them to be like them. There was nothing good about their intentions it was always selfishness and greed. If they went to another planet they would have dine the same thing. They want to colonize the planet. Look at how they kill Tulkun for the Amber ing their brains, not even the calf was spared after the horrifying and traumatizing experience of watching his mother be murdered when it was shown that Tulkun are just as intelligent as humans if not perhaps a bit more. Everything thr humans touch they destroy. It's not anti-human it's anti-colonization. This is showing our greed and selfishness and how our society is corrupt and we will trample over other people, animals, or species if it means we benefit from it and without any remorse or care.
“There are Difference between Traitor and Liar. You lied about Right and Wrong. A Traitor never lies, he just does what he BELIEVES is right”
2:07 I get that the Sea Dragon is a whaling vessel, not a warship, but given they know Na'vi ikran riders frequently attack from above, you'd think they'd install some AA guns or at least have a few troopers with orders to shoot down any hostiles that enter their airspace on/around the landing pad so the gunships can actually get airborne, or at least clear of the ship before they're at risk of being shot down 🤦
The human colonization of Pandora likely mirrors the operations of the East India Company or the US expansion in the Wild West: Open with lightweight, civilian-led, profit-driven operations, then once organized resistance happens, the regular military is sent in to cleanse the resisting people. The Avatar movies are all about sudden outbreaks of resistance, when the subjugated people defeat the colonizers using the element of surprise, similar to the Battle of Little Bighorn or Isandlwana.
@@Hellston20aThe Zulus were an imperial colonising power themselves, lol
and the 'one-arrow' choppers
@@Hellston20athe problem is that this is the RDA's second invasion of pandora
They already know how the Navi fights
You might think they would have to adapt by now against navi's war tactics like how British adapted against the Zulus or the US to the Indians by using early machine guns
They should expect fierce resistance
The unexpected rising up trope might work in the first movie but in the second movie it dosent
@@kungalexander829 it actually does work here becaue the area where the sea dragon was used there wasnt any navi resitance earlier
it was peaceful the islands were they hunted and they probably havent before been attacked by ikran
I like that this is a PG-13 movie with a BIG fat body count!!!
Love how Ronal fought FIERCELY even while pregnant
W ronal
Well, she was probably their most dangerous weapon, an angry pregnant Na'vi, at least until Neyteri lost Neteyam
Pregnant woman usually are 😂
@dianashepherd3241 Uhhh I didn't really read anything after the first sentence. Plenty of woman work out carrying heavily and moresome. I mean shoot we gotta push life out of us 😂
@@dianashepherd3241 you rlly called James Cameron feminist huh smh
I dont what some people say about the Avatat movies, beautifully shot, great story.
“You killed your own”, I understand that but,”good men, good women”, now he’s contradicting himself. Because that’s exactly what he did to the na’vi. Killed good men and women. So his argument became less valid 😅
Quaritch never killed his own though. Jake did. Jake is a traitor. That's the issue Quaritch has.
Exacto traicio a la tierra
@@jesserochon3103that’s my point. I understand where he’s coming from with that part tho. It’s the second part where he doesn’t realize he’s done that too innocent people as well
Men and women? Navis are but animals.
I had not watched this film before. Perfect video. Due to this section I will watch the film. Thanks a lot. I am waiting the new video 👏🏻.
1:49 Managed to developp interstellar travel but Still cant produce an arrow proof glass... They could easily have equipement absolutely indestructible by the indigenous, Navi or the fauna.
Heck a few B-29 at high altitude, fully analog would do the job easily...
I totally agree :D
keep hearing the argument that it is cheeper to not have bullet proof glass, that argument quickly falls apart when you have to replace the entire aircraft plus another pilot
I also wondered about that. The gunship has bulletproof glass (the huge chopper in the first movie) why cant they do it to the smaller chopers
@@entommazeta if they had broomstick proof glass, the navi wouldn't have a chance. i am no aircraft cabin expert, but i am very sure their arrows wouldn't be able to penetrate the glass and hit the pilot, maybe crack the shield but defiantly not enough to go right through
I just rewatch the video and realized that Neytiri's shot penetrated the cockpit mainly because she shot it from above combined with the speed she was going as well. In the first movie, the dragon gunship withstands all the arrows because the arrows were shot from below.
I believe with enough force and speed the Navi's arrow can penetrate the chopper's cockpits, hence why Neytiri shot it from above and at full speed most likely.
I don’t wanna b human mannnnn
My favorite part 1:25
Humans are much smaller and weaker compared to the Nu'vi, of course they will always lose in an open battle such as this. Humans need to fight the Na'vi from a distance, using long range missiles and artillery.
It’s like the battle of wakanda .
After Neteyam lets go of the tracker, (somewhere close to his siblings and friends) he is no longer seen until the battle has winded down.
And when Kiri, Aunong and Rotxo resurface, Wainfleet just happens to swoop down on his ikran and grabs Kiri. Did he know exactly where she would come up? And how come Aunong and Rotxo don't go after her after seeing what she can do? Did they just shrug and go home?
I wish we got to see Tonowari and Ronal make more kills besides one each. As for the rest of the Metkayina warriors, notice they are no longer seen after Jake dives in the water when Quaritch goes after him. Did they think "oh.. I think we killed enough. Let's go home."? Thought Tonowari was determined that they "must die here, today" for the killing of the tulkuns. Only Tsireya stayed alongside with the Sully's up into the morning. Wouldn't her parents be concerned to be looking for her in the aftermath of the battle? Any father would definitely go ape-shit if their daughter doesn't come home after prom.
I definitely find your comment correct.
I think James gonna answer these questions in the next movie. He said he has a cut 10 min battle scene cause it was too gory
James Cameron Desenvolveu muito bem esse projeto ficou muito bomm Top
Sully's family are strong to beat against rda & recoms
I guess they have no depth charges or AA guns in the future.....
didnt watch the movie huh ? They do have them, and they fire them at them
0:03 i mean he’s not wrong
Yeah. If Jake had done his job instead of clapping Na'vi cheeks a lot of people on both sides wouldn't have died.

0:01 thanks quadric for saying it straight. at least the first avatar showed the navi taking losses. this movie completely ignore that fact that the humans have fucking machine guns
Keep in mind that bullets aren’t that effective underwater. The stuff they’re using isn’t meant for naval combat. It’s a whaling ship as the Australian mentioned earlier.
Imagine how useful a couple f-35s or rapters would change the tide of this battle or some proper navel assets like a arliech bourke class destroyer if the rda has some proper millitary equipment instead of the futuristic crap the navi wouldn't stand a chance
irl humanity would conquer Pandora in like a year, tops
2:54 is it me or is that a reused shot?
Yes there are a few in the movie actually.

You’d think Jake’s creature would swarm and try to kill quaritch after he falls into the ocean

You have to remember these movies are shot in 3D. Doing that adds depth of field.

Pourqoui le titre est en français alors que c'est en anglais ?
the title is in english, the video has subtitles in many languages, one of them is french dude
Choose your side Navi or Rda
There's no way for the Na'vi to win this war, humans can travel to pandora, the Na'vi can't travel to earth to strike back, this is a one-way war.
If humans are ambitious enough, they can easily get rid of the Na'vi by orbital bombardment, nuclear strikes, or a biological weapon, I mean, this is the year 2154 who knows what kind of militar tecnologies humans have developed at this point.
