The first battle was awesome.
But the second battle in way of water was a taken to another level.
I love this battle but the battle for The Tree of Souls was one of the most spectacular battle scenes I've ever seen in a movie. It ranks right up there with the trench run in Star Wars

2:07 I get that the Sea Dragon is a whaling vessel, not a warship, but given they know Na'vi ikran riders frequently attack from above, you'd think they'd install some AA guns or at least have a few troopers with orders to shoot down any hostiles that enter their airspace on/around the landing pad so the gunships can actually get airborne, or at least clear of the ship before they're at risk of being shot down 🤦
The human colonization of Pandora likely mirrors the operations of the East India Company or the US expansion in the Wild West: Open with lightweight, civilian-led, profit-driven operations, then once organized resistance happens, the regular military is sent in to cleanse the resisting people. The Avatar movies are all about sudden outbreaks of resistance, when the subjugated people defeat the colonizers using the element of surprise, similar to the Battle of Little Bighorn or Isandlwana.

the cockpits are reinforced, but not the glass itself, in this future, it probably does protect from ballistics, but an arrow the size scale of human spears and more velocity has a much more concentrated point of energy.

The stakes were so much higher in the first movie though. RDA was aiming for hometree, whereas this is more personal.

keep hearing the argument that it is cheeper to not have bullet proof glass, that argument quickly falls apart when you have to replace the entire aircraft plus another pilot

@@entommazeta if they had broomstick proof glass, the navi wouldn't have a chance. i am no aircraft cabin expert, but i am very sure their arrows wouldn't be able to penetrate the glass and hit the pilot, maybe crack the shield but defiantly not enough to go right through
I just rewatch the video and realized that Neytiri's shot penetrated the cockpit mainly because she shot it from above combined with the speed she was going as well. In the first movie, the dragon gunship withstands all the arrows because the arrows were shot from below.
I believe with enough force and speed the Navi's arrow can penetrate the chopper's cockpits, hence why Neytiri shot it from above and at full speed most likely.

After Neteyam lets go of the tracker, (somewhere close to his siblings and friends) he is no longer seen until the battle has winded down.
And when Kiri, Aunong and Rotxo resurface, Wainfleet just happens to swoop down on his ikran and grabs Kiri. Did he know exactly where she would come up? And how come Aunong and Rotxo don't go after her after seeing what she can do? Did they just shrug and go home?
I wish we got to see Tonowari and Ronal make more kills besides one each. As for the rest of the Metkayina warriors, notice they are no longer seen after Jake dives in the water when Quaritch goes after him. Did they think "oh.. I think we killed enough. Let's go home."? Thought Tonowari was determined that they "must die here, today" for the killing of the tulkuns. Only Tsireya stayed alongside with the Sully's up into the morning. Wouldn't her parents be concerned to be looking for her in the aftermath of the battle? Any father would definitely go ape-shit if their daughter doesn't come home after prom.

You're forgetting that war is a logistics battle. This future tech runs on hydrogen cells and is built to run on a faraway planets with scant resupplies.
Good luck fueling your oil guzzling F-35s when your home planet is 5 years away and resupplies come only once a year, and if you need repair it with something off the regular list, you have to wait another 10+ years, genius
There's a reason why irl, we don't have F-35s on the moon or mars, and Pandora is 5 light YEARS away from earth.

Humans are much smaller and weaker compared to the Nu'vi, of course they will always lose in an open battle such as this. Humans need to fight the Na'vi from a distance, using long range missiles and artillery.

There's no way for the Na'vi to win this war, humans can travel to pandora, the Na'vi can't travel to earth to strike back, this is a one-way war.

The sound effects are super shitty. Cameron is known for being a particular hardass and yet... Papyrus and now bargain basement sound effects. For instance, the arrow going through the "glass" canopy at 2:09 sounds like something they pulled off a 1000 sounds effects CD from the free pile at Circuit City.

Why would the human government waste tons of money making another avatar project when the first one didn’t end well? They could have spent that money making their gunships and exo suits arrow proof. So their conventional military wouldn’t be so easily defeated by natives armed with Stone Age weapons.

Только не физическое(физическое если вызвано похотью, между родными братьями и сёстрами), а так называемое ПЕРВОРОДНОЕ (ДУХОВНОЕ , ПРИЧИНА которого ГРЕХОПАДЕНИЕ) ПОВРЕЖДЕНИЕ(ГРЕХ, ПОРОЧНАЯ СТРАСТЬ) НА КАЖДОМ человеке при рождении. И У КАЖДОГО человека своя СОБСТВЕННАЯ СТРАСТЬ. И ЭТО БОЛЕЗНЬ, но БОЛЕЗНЬ прежде всего ДУХОВНОГО ПЛАНА. И именно ПОРОЧНЫЕ СТРАСТИ людей являются ПРИЧИНОЙ ВСЕХ БЕД, СТРАДАНИЙ, и РАЗРУШИТЕЛЬНЫХ ДЕЙСТВИЙ на Земле. А вот условия ОСВОБОЖДЕНИЯ ОТ этого ПЕРВОРОДНОГО ГРЕХА(ПОВРЕЖДЕНИЯ, СТРАСТИ) как раз и ЗАПИСАНЫ в КНИГЕ ЖИЗНИ, СВЯТОМ ЕВАНГЕЛИЕ. НО СНАЧАЛА , чтобы донести их людям, сам СЫН, БОГ СЛОВО ВОЧЕЛОВЕЧИЛСЯ(ИИСУС ХРИСТОС, имя ИИСУС означает СПАСИТЕЛЬ). А ЕГО за это РАСПЯЛИ. Но ОСТАЛОСЬ СВЯТОЕ ЕВАНГЕЛИЕ. Вот ЭТО и есть БОЖЕСТВЕННЫЕ УСЛОВИЯ , во первых ИЗБАВЛЕНИЯ ОТ ПЕРВОРОДНОГО ГРЕХА(а правильней сказать от ПОВРЕЖДЕНИЯ), И во вторых ДЛЯ СПАСЕНИЯ ДУШИ человеческой, ПОЛУЧЕНИЯ ЖИЗНИ ВЕЧНОЙ для ДУШИ, ПОСЛЕ физической СМЕРТИ тела , В ЦАРСТВИЕ НЕБЕСНОМ.
И поэтому ИСТИННАЯ ВЕРА В БОГА, в первую очередь ЗАКЛЮЧАЕТСЯ В «БОРЬБЕ» каждого ЧЕЛОВЕКА, ПРИ ЗЕМНОЙ ЖИЗНИ, СО своими собственными ПОРОЧНЫМИ СТРАСТЯМИ, И только ТАК можно получить СПАСЕНИЕ для своей ДУШИ.
Ну И ЕСЛИ каждый человек захочет "БОРОТЬСЯ" СО своими ПОРОЧНЫМИ СТРАСТЯМИ, ТО для начала, НУЖНО ПОВЕРИТЬ В БОГА, ПРЕСВЯТУЮ ТРОИЦУ: ОТЦА(СОЗДАТЕЛЯ ВСЕГО ЖИВОГО И НЕ ЖИВОГО, ВИДИМОГО мира и НЕВИДИМОГО),через СЫНА БОГА СЛОВО(ИИСУСА ХРИСТА), СВЯТОГО ДУХА.
А ЧТОБЫ "ПРИЙТИ" к БОГУ или ПОЗНАТЬ БОГА необходимо ПОКАЯНИЕ.
Ну А для того ЧТОБЫ ПОНЯТЬ ВСЁ что ЗАПИСАНО выше, И для ИСКРЕННЕГО ХРИСТИАНСКОГО ПОКАЯНИЯ, которое необходимо УСПЕТЬ(потому что ВРЕМЕНИ осталось очень МАЛО, ВОЗМОЖНО даже ПРИМЕРНО 4 МЕСЯЦА, И ВСЁ(смотри СВЯТОЕ ЕВАНГЕЛИЕ от МАТФЕЯ, ГЛ. 24)) СДЕЛАТЬ ПРИ ЗЕМНОЙ ЖИЗНИ ЧЕЛОВЕКА, ПЕРВЫМ "шагом" будет (и как об этом уже упоминалось выше) ЧТЕНИЕ и ГЛАВНОЕ, ИЗУЧЕНИЕ КНИГИ ЖИЗНИ, СВЯЩЕННОГО ПИСАНИЯ НОВЫЙ ЗАВЕТ. ✋🏻
