Just a heads up on those screws: You only need to take out the left one on the middle bracket and the face cover would slide off. No need to take the middle one out too.
I have one of these, thought the build quality was poor, and it jammed on first game.Sadly you get what you pay for sometimes...and this is one of them!
Yes, unfortunately I got the Impression that this isn't something that's built to last. You probably gathered that in the video🤣. It might fail early but I'm hoping I can upgrade it if it does give up. Could be an interesting one if I manage it.
I have just bought one for my m4 do they just keep trying to wind on as that is what mine has just done and its clicking as though its surpassing the bb's, I'd have thought they would wind on then stop until you start firing then wind on more not just keep going.
I would agree with you that it should not keep winding on. I have not had a chance to test this one in the field yet. However the way most work depends on if its sound controlled or not. If it is then it should only wind when you fire. If it isn't then it should only wind when you press the button on the front. Hope this helps.
Just placed an order for this. Hopefully It'll last me a couple of matches before breaking. It's going into an equally questionable quality AEG. The SRC SR8 GEN 3
Hopefully it will work out. At my last game a friend was running one all day. They had no issues in the morning but had a problem with double feeding in the afternoon. Hopefully yours will run well. I will be trying this one out soon.
So is there a specific place to put the battery housing in? I bought one and as you said no instructions and really dont want to use it if the battery cage is just rattling around in the mag :/
Unfortunately the battery housing does just sit in that compartment. I've noticed that a lot of the affordable drums have a similar fitment. On the others I have used it doesn't seem to move around in there to much. I have considered cut foam to prevent movement so this may be an option.
Yeah that could work as well. You could then velcro the pack in. The sticky backed velcro roles are great. Once stuck it doesn't let go and you don't need to worry about hot glueing. Let me know how you get on. I have yet to use this one in the field. Would love to know how it goes.
I have just purchased a Nuprol sound activated 3500 round AK47 drum magazine for my JG, problem is it didn’t fit the mag well! If anyone has suggestions as to how to ‘modify’ it in any way?
That's not good. Sorry to hear about your problems with the mag. I'm afraid I'm not very experienced with AK mag fitment. Hopefully someone here will have experienced the same thing and have a fix.
Appreciate your reply so quickly! The problem is with the AK mag release lever will not ‘lock’ closed because the drum of the mag pushes against the lever, I still have to contact the seller to try and resolve however I like the look/feel of the actual magazine so if there is a fix then I would prefer to keep it. I paid extra for next day delivery and have ordered rechargeable batteries already😩
The usual problem I have with Ar based drum mags is similar in that the mag catch can not lock in. This usually can be fixed by filing the catch on the magazine down slightly to allow the catch to lock the mag in. Might be a similar fix with AK variants.
Hi there again FYI I think I’ve solved the problem re my mag not staying locked into the mag well, there are two wires running along the wall of the well, I ‘tucked’ them in so they were not protruding and the magazine sat comfortably without springing back out! I hope this information helps anyone else that may come across this problem👍
@rockbottomairsoft yeah I done it. If you get a lipo battery that rated to 3.7v 1cell and 600mah also needs to have the same connection as the drum mag that's more than enough power for it. I haven't texted anything more than than and tbh I'm not risking breaking it, only goin off the rating of the existing NImh battery's rating lol

That's great, thanks for letting me know. It would be infuriating taking the whole thing apart each time. Thanks again.

I got one recently it came broken out the box so that's something
The build quality and quality control does seem to be lacking.
@@rockbottomairsoft which is weird as nuprol seem okay with the aeg and hicap mags it's almost like they just didn't try with this
@NatInTheHat49 I completely agree
@@rockbottomairsoftAnd just like that it's now in the bin kept constantly double feeding and jamming at an event back to high caps for me
That's not good. I'm still to field the one I have, not filled with confidence with the feedback I've been getting.

Awesome. I'm glad you managed to sort it out. Thanks for letting us know how it can be sorted it's good to know.
Looking to upgrade mine with a small capacity lipo battery anyone recommend the voltage and apps?
I've not done this myself yet. Let me know how you get on. Thanks.
