Criterion need to finish this beta build and re-release it on the next year, as a 20 years Anniversary of OG Most Wanted so we can call it Need for Speed Most Wanted 2, not Burnout Fairhaven
NFS should retire now at this point, for real. As a veteran fan of it, it's so sad seeing the horse (that is NFS) that's been dead since 2008; they tried to revive it for the first five years but I don't think they could do much, and then the series became a victim of recycled trash.
Takedown cams are SO MUCH better than crash cams . It's more rewarding, cinematic and fun . Just give an option to turn it off ingame or just races ( not it freeroam) . This looks fun. Love it.
Man, so much cut content. While its only natural for things to change during development, I do have to wonder what led to the final build being more like a tone down version of Burnout Paradise than a true Most Wanted 05' sequel. Not that I hated MW 2012, just wished it could have been better.
In other words, the usual suspects. I would at least loved it if they kept some of the beta traffic vehicles (mainly the semi-trucks) in the final game. The did the same thing in Burnout Paradise ironically enough: Those trucks were seen driving around in pre-released screenshots, but ultimately absent in the final game.

The sounds are different, and the cop chases are a mix and reminiscent of Hot Pursuit 2011 and Undercover.
Criterion should reuse these scrapped features to use for NFS 2025

The devs said they straight up couldn’t make it, it was too ambitious for them
