Baseball 101: outfield hit always think/take 2…you playing too far back in the dirt as a shortstop it makes your throws longer and your trip to 2nd a weird angel. Once the ball leaves the pitcher’s hand and gets to where the grass meets dirt you should be able see the pitch and swing or not.
