  • In a culture that is hostile to truth and Christian ideals, it can be easy to hide our faith or put on camouflage to avoid confrontation with the world. Dr. Erwin Lutzer, however, implores Christians to stand for their faith and refuse to hide. Dr. Lutzer helps Christians to defend biblical truth with confidence and compassion. The conversation looks at the challenges parents face with indoctrination of their children in public schools and other difficulties believers will encounter in “woke” culture. The discussion also helps equip us for suffering that may come as we stand for our faith in a culture that desperately needs God.

I need prayer this morning-- my neighbors moved in with their daughter and her lesbian partner 6 weeks ago because her health is failing. The daughter messaged me last night and said her mom (my neighbor) had them call all the family home to say goodbye and she wanted to know if I would come to see her. We’ve been good neighbors but not close, they know I’m a Christian but they have been very guarded because of their daughters homosexuality.
Her time is near and I do not know if she has accepted the Lord, my heart is burdened!
I’m going into a lesbian home with angry defensive people and I want to present Gods love, Grace, Mercy and mostly his free gift of salvation ! I’m certain I will be the last person to minister to her and I’m not equipped! But thankfully my God is ❤
Please pray with and for me that God prepares her heart for his message and prepares me to share his message, pray God gives me the words to lead her to Christ in her final hours 🙏🏻
    Thank you

Hello, friend. We were touched by your concern for your neighbor’s daughter and your desire to reach out to her with the love of Christ. Please be assured of our prayers for you, your neighbors, and their daughter.
Perhaps you’d find it beneficial to speak with one of our counselors. They are available to answer questions, offer encouragement, and pray with you (at no cost). Just call 1-800-A-FAMILY (232-6459) weekdays between 6:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. (MT). The Family Help Center staff member who answers the phone will arrange for a counselor to call you back. One of them will be in touch just as soon as they’re able.
For further help, in response to questions about how to relate to a gay-identified friend or family member, we have developed a Q&A (bddy.me/3JUJeQo) on this topic. In addition, you may want to peruse our online article Nine Ways to Reach Out to a Gay-Identified Friend (bddy.me/3YFPj7l).
May the Lord bless you as you seek to be faithful in expressing His love to others.

This was a great encouragement to me. Thank you. I would love some more insight specifically regarding the call to expose evil...my husband is very burdened to do this on many topics and focuses on this a lot. I am finding it a struggle to see it as a priority in comparison to representing and sharing the gospel- I feel the focus on the enemy and evil can paint the wrong picture of Christ to people who have no eyes to see or hearts to comprehend the depth of wickedness that exists. How do we find the right balance and what topics are the most important to expose? End times, LGBTQ, Human trafficking, Satanism, False religions, scriptural flat earth debate, aliens, demons, among many others are all topics my husband regularly exposes. He is very bold. I would love some insight if you are able.

I’m in agreement with being loving and kind, as acting out in anger. I disagree with what they’re saying about dealing with these changes. I have told several trans or people in the LGBTQ community and I have learned to say to the person is “ I love you as a person and I’m ok with the right’s you have the freedom to make your choice, but I have the same freedom of the right to disagree with the choice you’ve decided to act on. While I still have the freedom to read my Bible and believe that what you’re doing is wrong. If you continue to live a life that’s sinfully wrong, I will not accept your choice and I might not continue to be an a acquaintance with you. “
We don’t need to take things to an extreme but our, so called church buildings, are way to accepting of sinful evil. The more we lovingly treat people and their lifestyle is stepped into our lives becoming more and more to the point we don’t even know what evil is, thus accepting till we don’t even know what’s right and wrong.
I could go on to give multiple scriptures and more of my opinion but I’ll stop here.
