I'm so happy that you had such a nice visit with Sarah, and that you took away some inspiration from the shop you visited. I want to thank you for researching (and Neil for recommending to you) Craig's framing shop. I looked them up, they are literally 3.3 km from my house! I love the idea of having the Holiday Countdowns framed the same way. You've just made my day, because since I got back into stitching, I haven't had anything framed, because I didnt know anyone truly reputable. So thanks a million! 😘🥳💗
How wonderful to see your daughter! Beautiful and intelligent too (you told us about her education and job in another flosstube), you must be so proud. I remember how a trip like that felt when my daughter lived and worked in London (UK, I live in The Netherlands), she was working during the day and in the evening time we would be meet up for drinks and dinner and chat the evening away, so wonderful. Happy and important memories. Your framed work is beautiful and what a great job they did on the lacing. So looking forward to your next flosstube with Kerry on the other channel!
I am so glad your time with your daughter was awesome. I dropped into Evertote to get my order and noticed that the road had spots in need of further construction…groan. I love my fabric and floss. Thank you.
Glad you enjoyed Arizona! You definitely came at a nice time of year, though we've had a lovely spring with LOTS of flowers! So happy to hear your good framing story!
Ooo you’re an eagle eye!! Not new - they were a gift from John after my graduating recital many many years ago and I rarely wear them - but I love them. Thanks for noticing!
You can see in the pictures what a good time you had with your daughter. The 2 Holiday Countdown pieces are wonderful! I am waiting for brackets to arrive in the post to hang shelves in my bedroom for a new stitching display. It will house a number of my MFE pieces including both Countdown pieces. I just can't wait to get that all together. Happy stitching! 🧵
The minute you showed the Christmas stitch alongs (which I've done) I thought "sign me up -ready for 2024 box. Also will now be doing the C is for coffee. Lovely finishes, looking forward to Thursday for the rest.
I live about ten minutes from the Attic :). Love the botanical gardens and the zoo is lovely also - beautifully planted and lots of space for the animals.
I love that you “over pack” as well. I do that as well but my family has not understood it and still don’t. I get so anxious when I don’t have several projects to work on.
Your SAL stitch is just coming along beautiful! I remember when I saw the Grand Canyon in person and was overwhelmed at how large it actually is. I thought I knew - because I knew it was the biggest canyon in the US and I had seen pictures - but there is no comparison of seeing a picture and then standing there in person!!! I'm so glad you were able to see and experience it too!
Glad you got to visit my state! I’m just up the road in Tucson and I’ve never been to The Attic (less than 2 hours away!) but one day I’m gonna go. Your new framer is a keeper for sure. ❤️🌵
I am happy that you were able to travel to Arizona. I have fallen behind on the Salentine project, but I am enjoying it. Just too many projects to work on.
Great to hear your visit with your daughter was such a good time. I saw the Grand Canyon once years ago and had the same reaction. Sounds like Thursday’s video will be a treat. Looking forward to it.
Thanks for sharing vacation pics! I'm glad you visited AZ in March. Summers are a bit hot. And I'm so happy Chops turned out to be such a great frame shop!
Glad you had such a great time with your daughter. You look really rested and happy! Luna must have been excited that you were home. What a great find in the new framer, and that they are interested enough in framing needlework that they learned to lace. Thanks for the visit.
It looks like you had a wonderful time with your daughter here in the states! What a good memory making time. I'm a little bit jealous you got to go to The Attic 🙂 Haha! I'll be visiting Acorn and Threads in Portland, Oregon in September, and I'm really looking forward to that. Your finished pieces turned out so good by your new framer.
Beautiful job of framing was done. What is the price for framing? Chops xdoesz goods work. Miss you last week but it was nice you could spend time with your daughter. Walk in Peace. With love from Northern Michigan. ❤❤❤❤
Your daughter looks a lot like your husband i think! So glad you enjoyed your visit! My son worked in Tucson, Arizona as an MD for a while so i had a chance to see a few places when i visited him. The scenery is breathtaking and the cacti are so majestic, you can’t believe they are real. We saw so many desert animals and almost stepped on a rattler!! Do you frame your pieces with glass?
Happy for you to spend time with your daughter. What a joy.❤
So glad you had a wonderful vacation with your daughter. Beautiful framing.

Such beautiful pieces all framed! I’m really glad that you had a great time with Sarah and I can’t wait to hear about your trip to the Attic! 😊
Those finishes are so gorgeous! And the Attic!! It's truly a magical place.

I saw the sign for the zoo and knew I'd have to go there next time. You live in a truly lovely place 😊
It makes me smile that you were in AZ. There are many wonders here. I appreciate all you do for our stitching community.
Oh thank you! What a gorgeous place ❤️

Looks like your trip to Arizona was great! It is a beautiful state. I really enjoyed meeting you at the Attic! That was a highlight of my trip. ❤
It really was! I'm so glad you had a great trip as well - I LOVED meeting YOU!!! So nice to put your face to your name ❤️
Nothing like spending time with your children. Especially when they live far away. Beautiful pics. 🩵🩵

I am glad you got to experience AZ as I do love living here. A bit different from Canada! It looks like you had a great time with your daughter.

Gah! I'm dying to know if you were convinced to start a high count project. Glad you had such a wonderful trip.
😂😂😂 - no but - somehow smalls and specialty stitches became my thing. 😂

Only a couple of them have glass. Most do not.
🐴🐴🐴
Did you put glass on your pieces?
💛🐇🖤🪡❤️🧵💛🐰🖤☕️❤️
"I know a guy" lol. ;)
Is Craig willing to do business through the internet? Just wondering. LOL! 🙂
Yes he is! They have cameras set up in the shop to provide photos etc - and they will ship. 😊
The construction noise is more apparent to you - I barely hear it. 🙂
Wow you put me to shame. I have c is for coffee done but not fully finished and u think I even painted the stuff that u want to put it on
You can do it!
