For me the better guy is not a problem, when i meet the sniper who's better than me it becomes my personal challenge to try outplay and outsmart him, and when you succed its the best feeling!
On badwater I always go troll demo with sticky jumper and loch n load, my best moment was being chased by soldier with australium rocket launcher and unusual hat and killing him twice in a row with just pipes while I myself of course merely wear a gibus and my sole purpose is dropping at their spawn and taking out teleporters lol.
A week ago I played Badwater. I killed spy sitting under the white wall. He tried to go invis while getting random splash damage and not moving. Of course I noticed him and syringed to death. And taunted. He became very upset in the chat for the entire match, saying something about a f2p medic taunting. That's how I got my first taunt that made someone mad.

Tbh it's very easy to go autopilot as a player in every game. Once the discomfort of doing stuff the way you are doing it disappears, you just keep repeating it while not thinking about what you are doing. This happens to me as well but... when I realise that I love playing games I try to find new strategies and try new stuff even if i may lose.

I’m convinced Sniper is designed specifically to make people mad. If they aren’t raging in the text or voice chat is shows in what classes they play. You go into a server, kill a few players and suddenly half the enemy team are playing Scout, Spy or Sniper and are focused solely on killing you.
Yes, the science is sort of already there. People absolutely HATE dying to sniper. It's not that he's an unfair class in the hands of a capable player, but it's that the counterplay against sniper isn't satisfying in the same way that reflecting a soldier's crocket or out-maneuvering an enemy scout can be cathartic. I think an interesting solution would be to shift sniper's weapons to have laser sights and tracers. Shounic's video proves that it made it feel like a better experience, or at least it was a step in a better direction for the majority of players. Lastly, as for how tracer rounds would become obsolete in machina or heatmaker, it could do large muzzle flashes to further give away the location of the sniper. Being able to see whether or not your counterplay is working, and knowing before you walk out in the open whether there is a risk of you eating a lead sandwich would be great. I think it would even be lore-friendly, like how there was an error with the mannco shipping or something, and all the sniper rifles have doinky laser pointers on them now.
I mean, it's a class based shooter. You can't really assume that people are angry based purely on the fact that they swapped to a class that counters the dude playing the best on the enemy team. That's like the most logical response to getting stomped by somebody in tf2 tbh.

I never complained in casual but in MvM it's a different story, in the end no matter what I say, people never care, so nowadays if I see something I don't like I just immediately leave until I find a lobby that has some chance of passing wave 1, there was quite literally NEVER an angineer who placed his buildings selfishly without caring about his team, and moved them into passable spots after me or anyone complaining. Votekick is an option but in same amount of time it takes to find out whether your team is willing to kick him, you could've requeued where everyone else just like you left bad teams and can enjoy the game. On the contrary, I saw meme battle medic in MvM and yeah, it's whatever, someone else immediately complained, but we went on, the medic ended up doing more damage than the guy who complained.
I guess i never thought about it since i've always played NA servers but yeah NA players get very mad very easily. I think it comes from our lack of focus on mental health in the US. It's kind of sad actually and I wish it was more of a normal thing in the USA for people to care for their mental health. American here yeah I don’t know what’s with us but when he play games we just get pissed. I’m a little different from that because when I do get pissed I don’t right off the bat blame my team or yell at somebody for being better. If anything I get mad at myself. Also I’ve been playing tf2 recently and it’s a fun casual game I never get mad. I see the game as a way of experimenting, and when I do get my ass beat I never get mad because the game is fun.
I find myself getting frustrated with snipers from time to time, because the only viable counter is another sniper, and sniper is my least played class, so I jump him as demo, only to get crit oneshot with melee. Still, raging like this is laughable and honestly pretty sad.
I have to wonder if evil monkey ever found out he was playing against Fatmagic. Seriously though, this feels like a combo of people forgetting their fun is not more important than other people's fun, and assuming every sniper who's getting consistent headshots must be cheating

However, I 100% agree though I am jealous of Fat Magic's Sniper skill/aim.
i think the only time i got mad at a player was a gun spy who went like 50-3 using stock revolver. he hit every shot even at longer ranges, i'm pretty sure he was cheating but sometimes people are just good so idk. also a targe demoknight who would charge in, kill one guy, and charge back out with his pocket medic. still i never got in chat and raged like these guys did

I respect that they're better, but I also don't want to play counter sniper or change my strategy just to deal with one guy on the other team. After domming me on Harvest he started calling me things like "trash", "loser", etc. Even after going demoknight and trimping straight to him, I still only wanted to settle the domination with Rock-Paper-Scissors, he'd just headshot me in the taunt, call me names, then tell me to uninstall. He may be a good player with lots of skill, but he's not a good person, and until he proves me wrong, this is what I'm going to preach.
