One small thing to watch out with Lynette is that she has a different elemental absorption priority than most other Anemo units. Units like Kazuha and Sucrose prioritize Pyro > Hydro > Electro > Cryo, while Lynette (and Anemo Traveller for some reason?) prioritize Cryo > Pyro > Hydro > Electro. So beware how you cast her ult when there's cryo present.

Similarly to Lynette, people are overlooking just how much yaoyao can contribute to kinich. I dont have emilie, so i run a bennett dehya core with a flex pick. After some testing, i arrived at the conclusion that yaoyao is actually amongst one of the better units to slot in for kinich. she can utilize millelith 4pc for a 20% atk buff or just be on the natlan set for 12% dmg(i dont have much millelith), with her c1 she can give him 15% dendro damage bonus, and shes one of the only characters that can actually use moonpiercer, further buffing kinich by up to 32% atk on high refinement. Emilie can use these as well, but she doesnt grant anyone dendro dmg, and it would be detrimental to her own damage to go any of this(and again, i dont have her, i suspect this is the case for many others as well).

I was using her with an HP% staff (event weapon, forgot what it's called) Though, between Kinich/bennett/dehya/yaoyao and Kinich/bennett/lynette/flex, which one do you think would be better? And actually, do you think yaoyao applies enough dendro towards the enemies? I always found her projectile kinda slow for some reason?
@@deepseadramatix burning doesnt need much app at all, and kinich is there to help. Weighing all buffs, i found the best teams to be either lynette flex with something like a zhongli on the last slot, or yaoyao moonpiercer
Hello. I use Yaoyao too. She use deepwood art so enemies get dendro resistant reduced, she buff so much to Kinnich damage from this alone. Her heal is targeted to active character too, so its benefit Kinich when he moving around. The other 2 are Bennet and Tankfei with TTDS. C4 Tankfei can make shield for active character and with TTDS she can buff 48% attack. Don't forget pyro resonance too.
So I wasn't tripping when I thought she could work with Kinich... Edit (update): I tried Kinich 4pc Codex (I have Beacon too), TOTM Dehya, Noblesse Bennett and Deepwood Lynette in abyss and it helped me max abyss effortlessly. I think it's definitely worth the shot!
@@donevildon4713I think the reason why Lynette works better than Jean is because Jean cleanses elemental aura, whereas Lynette absorbs and consistently applies auras, her elemental infusion of the ULT also targets the enemies you are currently attacking (idk if this is true but from playing with her it’s what I have noticed) and Lynette provides aggro on her ult and her e skill has a weak grouping mechanic but it’s still useful against hordes of light mobs, not to mention Lynette can buff attack based on the number of different elements within your party. To conclude, Jean is good but she can’t reapply elements that well, and her e skill groups enemies but pushes them away from you and it takes time to group. Her ult also pushes enemies out and aside from holding VV set or deep wood, the only good thing she can do is heal a LOT. Lynette: Grouping (aggro and skill), Consistent elemental applier, attack buff (passive) Jean: Healing, grouping (but pushes them away from you)
@@the_real_tabby Ok so let me explain this is basic terms, When you add a anemo unit it's always to buff sub dps or main dps, You cannot swirl Dendro, Lynette can also NOT infuse dendro on her burst so putting a lynette on vvin, is already super cope without xiangling (to focus on the xiangling dmg) because that's the only think A anemo unit has to offer, VV shreds for about 40 percent, Deepwood for 30 so why use lynette (anemo) to support kinich instead of another hydro or pyro wich actually support is ascension passive. i'm curious to hear what you have to say about this. because your theory is cool. But in reality it does not work as well as putting another dendro unit in(wich kinich does not need) 2 pyro (bennet/xiangling or bennet/thoma ) and then xingqui/hydro flex. is way better. because you can put deepwood on thoma who will keep reapplying deepwood debuff with burst. Basically (lynette(anemo) is for buffing sub dps in dendro teams and her not on vv is laready sub optimal, putting her on depwood is strictly EVEN worse. So just use hydro or emilie
I’m willing to say that Kazuha might actually be worse than venti in terms of crowd control. Kazuha’s grouping pulls enemies into Bennet’s circle, but unlike Lynnette, he doesn’t have any form of diversion to keep Kinich safe. Venti pulls mobs up and away providing Kinich both a safe distance to attack AND being able to damage multiple targets
the problem is that nowadays people think of CC as an addition to others buffs Even if kazuha CC is worse than venti's,people will still prefer kazuha because of the insane buff he gives
I absolutely love Lynette, but since i have every anemo unit with the exception of Wanderer, i never found a reason to invest on her, now im extremely happy that yt recommended me this video cause i have an amazing reason to buid her now

the only problem with burning, many teammates need a lot of er due to burst reliant, not to mention some enemies cannot be burnt which reduce kinich damage. also, venti is best support for kinich, he makes kinich cannon aoe due to enemies clumping together by venti burst. you should try it.
Lynette was my first VV unit, so this use case is nice to see. Been using Dehya for my Kinich team for now; hoping Mavuika will be a solid upgrade, though.
Just pair kinich with Lynette, Absolutely banger!!! Kinich + Pyro resonance (Bennet + Pyro character with TTDS) + Lynette (Deepwood) Pyro resonance add 25% ATK and Lynette passive add 16% ATK (3 elements consist of Pyro, Dendro, Anemo) The stat goes crazy!
Idk who should use as a support for him atp. I have c5 Lynette that I'm planning to level up, c5 Bennett, c1 Dehya, Thoma, c6 YaoYao, c3 Xiangling, Venti and Nahida. I really wanna use him for the Abyss
bennett is a must! xiangling is not as recommended for kinich teams as much as dehya/thoma. You can choose either Dehya or Thoma. The last unit can be whoever you want! Just make sure you have someone to carry deepwood, and you’re set

I 36 starred the abyss with kinich, Bennett, Emilie, and kazuha. I prefer kazuha more than Lynnette for the grouping. And huge burgeon damage on the hydro tulpa

Deep wood on Lynette, huh? Reminds me of my Self-melt Kaeya build on my sub-account that one has a C6 Bennett unlike my main account, I tend to do the Polar Opposite choices I make on it. Also Building Kaeya with Witch set and than applying Bennett's pyro application results in an instant Delete of anything at 80%Hp anything above that gets unalived by my Kazuha or a galactic space meatball seconds later. Just like my main account I have all the archons the only diff is that my sub got lucky when pulled for Neuvillete but failed with Arlecchino it was the opposite on my main. I might utilize my Lynette this way also, she'll fit alongside my "Maple Dehya" build.
IMO.. I think Lynette is better on Kinich with Xiangling rather than with Emilie.. From my perspective: - Kinich, Emilie, Bennett, Dehya - Kinich, Lynette, Xiangling, Bennett But, Lynette with VV, and Bennett on Deppwood.. This way, they buff both Kinich and Xiangling..
I like the strange but creative idea of pairing to characters with no real matching elements, but it just so happens you found the right "loophole" for that and still found great use in it (i.e grouping + Dendro Res shred). In my case, I always liked the cute catgirl, and even built her to lvl.90, but never found a right place for her. For "VV Shred", she'd just be worse than Sacarosa, but I never considered the move's "taunt" mechanic, and let alone the grouping thing on top of Elemental Infusion.
Thanks so much for this, I've been struggling to figure out possible teams since I just started on kinich's banner (no fischl, no bennet, ect). I do have xingqui and should get bennet from the glitter shop, but was wondering if this still works without lynette's c1? I think the hat will work but no vortex so not sure honestly. This would open up tighnari as my second team (sadly still nothing to utilize my xilonen) with something like kirara, lisa, and eventually ororon/fischl. of maybe I go thoma burgeon with the c6 candace, collei (pull for nahida) and... something? Team building is hard with no on-fielders :( Only sitting on free characters, kinich, heizou, razor, tighnari c1, and thoma c5 for on fielders
Which artifact main stats should I go for on Lynette‘s Deepwood set? ER sands for consistent burst I guess, but what about goblet and circlet? 🤔 EM, or anemo + crit?

I've been having some trouble getting 4 shots consistently in furina + bennett teams (with any of dehya/thoma/lynette) and only have really had more consistent results with Xiangling. Any tips on how to rotate the other units to make them work better? I really don't want to use Xaignling haha
That problem gets negated fr if you have dehya, and on dehya you could run scrolls to boost Kinich elemental dmg by 12 percent because Lynette is running deepwood
I'm running Kinich Dehya Bennet Xiangling, since Xiangling doesn't do much damage here (she's mostly there for consistent Pyro app), would Lynette be an improvement? Also if Dehya is already running deepwood, what'd be a good set for her? Emblem?
Lynette on VV. What people aren't telling you is that VV will shread the pyro. This matters because BURNING is based on the PYRO RESIST of the enemies.
Burning only does 1.4k on triple EM, 1.8k with VV and 300ish damage with no EM, so you're usually looking at 500-800dmg. It can add up a little bit but if Lynette can proc the natlan scroll set then it's better since it'll give 12% dmg to Kinich. If she somehow can't then I'd use 4p tenacity on Dehya and deepwood on Lynette
I use zhongli, chersuve or something the girl with the rifle and alhaitam with kinich and they're pretty good. Any other tips on what teams I should make with him?
tbh it can if you just put viridescent instead of deepwood to shread hydro but it would be better to use sucrose since sucrose gives em which mualani benefits from while lynette gives attack which mualani doesnt need
Technically yes, but you'll need someone else to apply Pyro first, which is a problem for Mualani because Bennett doesn't buff her. PS: I played this game since launch, and still don't have Sayu :)

@@marc6186 my team ended up being Bennet, Kinich, Lynette, Dehya.. having lynette actually increased my general dps a bit and made the rotation easier. BUT you do need a ton of ER on lynette and i gave her Favonius for the particles
Lynette can maintain the Pyro aura on the enemy by swirling her burst with pyro + Kinich and Emilie as your DPS means that the enemy will be permanently affected by Burning. Sucrose can only apply it but cannot maintain it for the full duration of Kinich Skill.
@@zeposwald2541 Nahida is still ok with Deepwood + TTDS but you can't utilize her full potential because you do not benefit in the EM scaling. Emilie is good as a sub dps as her damage is really cracked against Burning enemies.

That's a very good team, but I would change your rotation to Furina before Bennett for two reasons. 1. Make sure there's Pyro for Lynette to infuse. 2. Bennett's Buff will last longer for Kinich. For Mona, the only part I don't like her is her duration. 5s is just too short for meaningful effects. For C1 Yaoyao, it's normal her healing is not reliable, because her carrot only targets you when you're
You can also just use Bennett after Lynette. If Lynette is hit by Bennett burst before Furina's pets, then Lynette will absorb pyro from Bennett. Can also E on Bennett to hit Lynette's burst and make it absorb pyro. So Furina E Q into Lynette E Bennett E Q Kinich E Cannon shot Q and spam
@@flamezforthegamez1056 So far I've been testing, its definitely not the kind of team for mindless spam to efficiently maximise it (furina's pets can definitely ruin the rotation, and kinich's skill takes timing) so that's exactly what I've been doing, Bennett first and then Lynette - but if im not careful, Bennett's buff goes away moments after Kinich hops on field. Really tricky but I was able to pull off some sweet damage (200k in OW, and kinich is still running golden troupe / not fully built yet!)

For Sands go for Energy Recharge, and for the other piece anything is good as long it have high Energy Recharge (If you using Favonius, use CRIT Rate on the Circlet)
-she groups enemies (with her c1) so kinich can hit several enemies with his cannon shots -infuses pyro into her burst, which will do damage with what its infused with (so more pyro application for burning), -her burst taunts enemies so enemies attack kinich less. -because this team will have 3 different elements, she will increase teammates atk by 16% for 10 seconds after her burst, with her first ascension passive, which kinich appreciates -she can be the holder of deepwood to shred dendro resistance for kinich :) (not said in video, but if someone else is holding deepwood, she can hold noblesse oblige to buff kinich since she wants to burst anyway!) hope this helps :)

Idk who should use as a support for him atp. I have c5 Lynette that I'm planning to level up, c5 Bennett, c1 Dehya, Thoma, c6 YaoYao, c3 Xiangling, Venti and Nahida. I really wanna use him for the Abyss
bennett is a must! xiangling is not as recommended for kinich teams as much as dehya/thoma. You can choose either Dehya or Thoma. The last unit can be whoever you want! Just make sure you have someone to carry deepwood, and you’re set

I’m still stuck in artifacts hell. For whatever reason I can’t seem to get and sand pieces. I also got some nice artifacts with crit/crit damage substats, too fucking bad that all the stat upgrades went to flat freaking defense!
I was almost going to pick dehya for the selector just for kinich. Looks like I'm back to undecided.

I 36 starred the abyss with kinich, Bennett, Emilie, and kazuha. I prefer kazuha more than Lynnette for the grouping. And huge burgeon damage on the hydro tulpa

Deep wood on Lynette, huh? Reminds me of my Self-melt Kaeya build on my sub-account that one has a C6 Bennett unlike my main account, I tend to do the Polar Opposite choices I make on it. Also Building Kaeya with Witch set and than applying Bennett's pyro application results in an instant Delete of anything at 80%Hp anything above that gets unalived by my Kazuha or a galactic space meatball seconds later. Just like my main account I have all the archons the only diff is that my sub got lucky when pulled for Neuvillete but failed with Arlecchino it was the opposite on my main. I might utilize my Lynette this way also, she'll fit alongside my "Maple Dehya" build.

IMO.. I think Lynette is better on Kinich with Xiangling rather than with Emilie..
From my perspective:
- Kinich, Emilie, Bennett, Dehya
- Kinich, Lynette, Xiangling, Bennett
But, Lynette with VV, and Bennett on Deppwood..
This way, they buff both Kinich and Xiangling..
I like the strange but creative idea of pairing to characters with no real matching elements, but it just so happens you found the right "loophole" for that and still found great use in it (i.e grouping + Dendro Res shred).
In my case, I always liked the cute catgirl, and even built her to lvl.90, but never found a right place for her. For "VV Shred", she'd just be worse than Sacarosa, but I never considered the move's "taunt" mechanic, and let alone the grouping thing on top of Elemental Infusion.
I was using Kazuha up to now for grouping and off field pyro... Maybe i need to get lynette off my shelf o:

Lynette doesn't have the best grouping BUT in exchange higher pyro app and since it's Kinich u really don't need grouping you're single target anyways
Thanks so much for this, I've been struggling to figure out possible teams since I just started on kinich's banner (no fischl, no bennet, ect). I do have xingqui and should get bennet from the glitter shop, but was wondering if this still works without lynette's c1? I think the hat will work but no vortex so not sure honestly. This would open up tighnari as my second team (sadly still nothing to utilize my xilonen) with something like kirara, lisa, and eventually ororon/fischl. of maybe I go thoma burgeon with the c6 candace, collei (pull for nahida) and... something? Team building is hard with no on-fielders :(

Deepwood set has no elemental requirement for the holder. As long as you hit opponents w elemental skill/burst, you trigger the 4pc effect // dendro res shred

Yea naw you cooked with the Lynette thing I been running Dehya(Scrolls of Cinder), Bennett(Noblesse),Lynette( Deepwood Memories) and Kinich and my dmg jumped high as heck

I've been having some trouble getting 4 shots consistently in furina + bennett teams (with any of dehya/thoma/lynette) and only have really had more consistent results with Xiangling. Any tips on how to rotate the other units to make them work better? I really don't want to use Xaignling haha

You will only have that issue against cryo enemies because Lynette priorities cryo first but other then that it shouldn't be an issue.
That problem gets negated fr if you have dehya, and on dehya you could run scrolls to boost Kinich elemental dmg by 12 percent because Lynette is running deepwood
I'm running Kinich Dehya Bennet Xiangling, since Xiangling doesn't do much damage here (she's mostly there for consistent Pyro app), would Lynette be an improvement? Also if Dehya is already running deepwood, what'd be a good set for her? Emblem?
Lynette on VV. What people aren't telling you is that VV will shread the pyro. This matters because BURNING is based on the PYRO RESIST of the enemies.

Switch Dehya to Tenacity for 20% atk, Lynette Deepwood. VV shred ain't worth it on burning
Burning only does 1.4k on triple EM, 1.8k with VV and 300ish damage with no EM, so you're usually looking at 500-800dmg. It can add up a little bit but if Lynette can proc the natlan scroll set then it's better since it'll give 12% dmg to Kinich. If she somehow can't then I'd use 4p tenacity on Dehya and deepwood on Lynette

Technically yes, but you'll need someone else to apply Pyro first, which is a problem for Mualani because Bennett doesn't buff her.

@@marc6186 my team ended up being Bennet, Kinich, Lynette, Dehya.. having lynette actually increased my general dps a bit and made the rotation easier. BUT you do need a ton of ER on lynette and i gave her Favonius for the particles

Lynette can maintain the Pyro aura on the enemy by swirling her burst with pyro + Kinich and Emilie as your DPS means that the enemy will be permanently affected by Burning.
Sucrose can only apply it but cannot maintain it for the full duration of Kinich Skill.

@@zeposwald2541 Nahida is still ok with Deepwood + TTDS but you can't utilize her full potential because you do not benefit in the EM scaling.
Emilie is good as a sub dps as her damage is really cracked against Burning enemies.
The reason for using Lynette is that she can maintain pyro aura.

I assume Lynette would have to be on deepwood like you mentioned. So im Imagine the rotation would be something like putting down bennett's ring, furinas skill then ult, swap to lynette and skill twice (she regains HP, and is enough to max fanfare), burst, then do whatever with kinich
Though I'm also trying to consider Mona with TTODS for the attack buff, and I saw someone mention C1 yaoyao might be worth looking into with tenacity/deepwood + moon piercer - but I don't find her healing that reliable?

That's a very good team, but I would change your rotation to Furina before Bennett for two reasons.
1. Make sure there's Pyro for Lynette to infuse.
2. Bennett's Buff will last longer for Kinich.
For Mona, the only part I don't like her is her duration. 5s is just too short for meaningful effects.
For C1 Yaoyao, it's normal her healing is not reliable, because her carrot only targets you when you're

You can also just use Bennett after Lynette. If Lynette is hit by Bennett burst before Furina's pets, then Lynette will absorb pyro from Bennett. Can also E on Bennett to hit Lynette's burst and make it absorb pyro.

@@flamezforthegamez1056 So far I've been testing, its definitely not the kind of team for mindless spam to efficiently maximise it (furina's pets can definitely ruin the rotation, and kinich's skill takes timing)
so that's exactly what I've been doing, Bennett first and then Lynette - but if im not careful, Bennett's buff goes away moments after Kinich hops on field. Really tricky but I was able to pull off some sweet damage (200k in OW, and kinich is still running golden troupe / not fully built yet!)
@@deepseadramatix personally I think the Natlan craft able is better why? Because it boost ur skill which is Kinich entire thing his skill and having high atk doesn't really help much in the long run it's better a boost in skill dmg than atk

What stats should lenyt have
Anything is good, but EM Build if you go for Burgeon.
For Sands go for Energy Recharge, and for the other piece anything is good as long it have high Energy Recharge (If you using Favonius, use CRIT Rate on the Circlet)

I don't quite understand why lynette is good here
-she groups enemies (with her c1) so kinich can hit several enemies with his cannon shots
-infuses pyro into her burst, which will do damage with what its infused with (so more pyro application for burning),
-her burst taunts enemies so enemies attack kinich less.
-because this team will have 3 different elements, she will increase teammates atk by 16% for 10 seconds after her burst, with her first ascension passive, which kinich appreciates
-she can be the holder of deepwood to shred dendro resistance for kinich :) (not said in video, but if someone else is holding deepwood, she can hold noblesse oblige to buff kinich since she wants to burst anyway!)
