I have a 2019 C-HR and LOVE it! It is my daily driver. I also have all the Toyota TRD performance part upgrades for the car including the TRD Air Intake kit for more horsepower and torque than stock and the TRD performance Lowering Springs. Since it is a Toyota, after 4 years the car still drives like new. This car is definitely a keeper. I actually just put on Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires and the car even drives better than before. Well done Toyota. Well done.
@@nostalgiachannel318 I have the 18" rims and what I replaced were the original Dunlop SP Sport 5000. They got the job done but they did not last long and the performance cannot touch the PS 4S. The PS 4S tires are a little more expensive up front but they last longer, handle better in both the dry and the wet and they are quieter than the Dunlops.
@@Jack__Reaper With the Air Intake Kit you do give up 2 - 3 MPH when you are not on it. I was able to pick back up 1-2 MPH with my installed Tornado Air so to me a loss of about 1 MPG for about 29 MPH is well worth the extra horsepower and torque. I am pretty sure my MPGs would improve if I took off my roof racks but I am leaving those on.
I wanted to swap my 2020 corolla hybrid ZR for a limited chr, went to test drive and even tho i love the styling and the slightly bigger back seat area and boot i couldnt get past how outdated the whole entire dashboard is. The gauge cluster compared to my 20 corolla feels like its from 2010, the little tiny screen in between the 2 dials in fromt of you looks so old and same with the graphics. The AC unit, same story.. Idk why toyota would do this, such a nice looking car.
I love it but I wish it had a boost for driving on the highway. I also wish it had a platinum package with heated & cooling seats, heated steering wheel and auto-park. I wish the rear seats fold down for more storage. I think it is cute.
still waiting for them to fix the backseats, I was in line to check out a used CHR that still wasnt available for sale. I dont want a bulky Rav4 or a lookalike Rav4 (crossover), hope they can change their minds in the next year or two because ive been waiting to buy.
yes they have for the U.S and i like the one we have all the the seats are a bit hard but darn what a great little car.....all the best to you my friend and be safe out their
Love the CHR. ONLY car i really like, but is it going to sell in U.S. Everytime iask a dealer bought buying a new one, they say toyota is not selling new ones in U.S.
I was planning to buy it, too, but the CH-R is discontinued in the US and Canada. 2022 is the last model. The dealer told me that Toyota US wants the Corolla Cross to take this part of the US market.
I would need to drive it. This is a better cvt than ones in Nissans and more reliable. This car is a standout for reliability vs even other toyotas supposedly.
Tell that to the ones in the FORUM. Look for the "humming noise of death". The K114 appears to suffer from bad variator bearings or just abuse from the driver. Treating mine (2018 C-HR XLE) gently Flushed the fluid at 30k miles. 60k - drop pan, change CVT filter (yes it has one), and fill. @@gmo709
See this is the comment I was looking for. So you're saying the car doesn't have any kick when you excellerate from stop? That's the only thing that's making me reconsider this car....
Why don't any of the reviews for any car not mention the placement of the catalytic converter & the theft of them from some hybrid cars. All they seem to mention & worry about is plenty of cup holder space & phone charging ports. Nothing practical like Looking Nothing underneath. Also no mention of positions of the handbrake. Don't newer cars have them anymore. Seems all the reviews are from the same script. Catalytic converter theft is still going on & the rise, I'm rather disappointed none of the reviews even mention where it is or how easy it is the protect it. I'm thinking of getting a new hybrid car but worried about cat converter theft yet its not even mentioned in any review for any car which is disappointing.
@@charcyb6685 indeed, I'm concerning the same thing, I see some of the cat protection product in the market, it's worth to get one. just for reference ruclips.net/video/n643Zizjdng/видео.html

Whats the mpg please?
What tyres did you have in before I have the Michelin Primacy looking for an alternative

Love my CHR Hybrid 72 plate❤ Great on fuel!
My last car was an Audi but fuel consumption was high.
LOVE THE STYLING. If it had 250+ horsepower and all wheel drive I'd be a buyer.
Agreed
And an unobscured view out the back.

I have a 2018.. I want a 2023😢. Looked at every other Toyota available and didn’t see anything I like. I love my CHR
It’s fair to say they’re the most stylish Toyota
I have the 2018 too..quite versatile..will not trade it for anything lol 😆
How is the blind spot? I like the design and reliability rating even within toyota family. The limited view worries me bc my vision isnt great.
Who needs to see out of the back? There is a camera for reversing.
I had a 19plate and currently have a 71 plate. 23 plate due to arrive 1st March. I love them, spacious back seats, smooth ride, goes like a dream 👌
The rear seats are the opposite of spacious, if you want space go for a Rav4.

i thought this TOY CHR model was discontinued after 2022?

I love it but wish it had a sunroof
Good point
Car is probably safer without it and lighter!
I agree, a panoramic sunroof. I don't understand why they don't have an option with all the bells and whistles.
I just have to test drive to see of o really want it. I think it's a gorgeous car
When you know what to expect from the new redesigned 2024 CHR you might think about postponing your purchase
Good to know, but I need a car now. 😔
Splendid car!
Wow! I'm speechless!
Good one
Just ordered the Excel model, shame that there's a 4 to 6 month wait for delivery.
Why not available in North America??? Just why?
Whomever is in charge at Toyota NA is an idiot.
Plsss with a SunRoof🙏🙏
Only in other than North America - not a Sunroof, but a Panoramic roof. - check out the 2024 C-HR.
I heard that Toyota C-HR is discontinued here in USA. Is that true?
i have a 22 and its a great car but the seats are needing a bit of work....
I just came from the dwalership to buy a car and inquired about the C-HR. They said that it is definitely been discontinued.

I’d settle for a turbo CHR GR VERSION
Now that’s a good shout!

Why did they stop selling in the USA?
Why not
The 2023 C-HR comes HYBRID????
This is an underpowered nonstarter. It is discontinued in the US.
My dream car 🤍
Possibly, form over function - needs a new more powerful engine.
250hp would be perfect
180ish would be perfect, not 250. The 2.5L of the Camry would be awesome.
Great car, but the engine is too small.
Completely agree. It would benefit from another 80hp!

Too bad the PHEV has more HP than what the NADM got. And all-wheel drive
