    Thank you. I have a long border with two hydrangeas, part shade, and have struggled to design around those hydrangeas. Your knowledge has opened a mental door for me. Again, thank you.

    Thanks Rosy, I do love how you make up these borders. You show me plants I wouldn't come across. Great selection.

    Worth mentioning that nowadays you can buy the newer variety Strong Annabelle that doesn't need support, worth a look if anyone is considering adding some to their garden.

    I grow hydrangea Limelight and Lilac Squirrel is a lovely companion to it as well as persicaria. You have given me fantastic ideas and inspiration for another and new grouping of white hydrangea to include pale yellow hemerocallis and blue nepeta

    Hi Rosey! I got your newsletter yesterday and I was so excited. I can overwinter dahlia cuttings? I do over winter many things in my basement as I use grow light bulbs. Last year was one but I am going to another this year and both will be on timers. I am going to find those adorable squirrel tails seeds to confuse the tons of squirrel squirrels that relandscape my beds every year 😅

    Thanks Rosie, you have convinced me that my garden is for perinniels. Should they be cut back every year for healthier plants?

    Hi Rosy. I have a border that gets the sun until about 1pm, then it is in shade. The soils is new and very silty to about 10 inches. It sits over heavy Suffolk clay. Will this combination work well there?

    • @rosyhardy18
      @rosyhardy18 2 месяца назад +1

      Yes it should work well. Make sure you add lots of organic Matt when planting and mulch

    I was walking around the neighborhood, there were lots of big green saggy flower heads. At least in my area, I would look for something else besides that hydrangea.

    I love this!!! What would be the sun /shade hours ratio for this boarder. I have a east facing garden - the bottom is shade during the morning but by late afternoon gets a lot of sun - would this boarder work in there ?

    • @rosyhardy18
      @rosyhardy18 2 месяца назад +1

      There may be just a bit too much sun. But moisture is also key.
