    You explained what most if not all coaches/instructors reference but never break down. Thank you for the effort you take to make these excellent detailed videos.

    I've caught myself a few times noticing my front tire just below my chest. I'm not doing it intentionally but dang, if I could slap the front tire I would be super stoked!

      Dusty! Outstanding videos on jump technique! I have the identical bike as you. Have you done any suspension mods? My landings seem more jolting than yours!

    Fantastic video! On a jump like this one, when you shift your weight back to leverage the front wheel up, how much pull pressure do you feel in your hands? Also, in comparison to when doing the J-hop?

  • @JoeIsCrazyWillman
    @JoeIsCrazyWillman День назад +2

    So I thought you were going to end up rear wheel heavy on the bad example jump you were doing, and made me think of the numerous times I've hit larger jumps and just ended up with the front wheel in the air all the way across and landed rear wheel down. Limited air with the rear, but the front very high, and definitely scared the crap out of me every single time. You'd think this is a result of pulling on the bars without even realizing it?

    What about on less bike parky/more dirt jumpy jumps where the lip approaches vert? I find the bars come to my hips without effort as my back wheel is taking off. I think I hinge at the hips to follow the arc and then push out the bars to land. Does that sound right?

    • @Theshredacademy
      @Theshredacademy  День назад +2

      @@gilesanderson123 yes sir. I was going to put that in but I don’t want to confuse people. If your bars end up at your hips on dirt jump style jumps yeah your gonna find your self with close proximity. But it’s not somthing I would focus on because it causes to much stand up to the jump or OTB effects.

    I preferred, by a large margin, your older videos before you started talking in RUclipsse. It's a cadence/pronunciation/emphasis/phrasing pattern that nobody IRL uses. I can't put my finger on exactly what it is or why it bothers me, but it does - a lot. I prefer people who talk in videos like they were talking to me or their friends in person.
