Every now and then. It's kool to have them if you need some pad sounds or sequences with glide because long samples will fill up the memory on this unit quickly.
Thank you for sharing this great liveset. Lately I've been thinking of buying an Electribe 2 Sampler especially for live use since I don't want to take my MPC Live on gigs. I've had my doubts but now after hearing this I think the Electribe 2 would actually be a perfect live groovebox for me. I think you can also control external synth gear quite easily with it?
Thanks! Glad you like it! Yes, you will be able to control external synth with it. The sequencer is capable of it and you have 1 audio in. I would recommend the Electribe 2 Sampler over the synth version: The drum sounds in the synth version are not very kool...
Great work! Which do u like more and why, the Electribe or Digitakt? Thanks! Also, do you use Electribe synth engine? (I have an Octatrack and I don t know if to get or not the Electribe sampler. If I don t use its synth engine don't know if it's worth it)
Thanks Shinobi! I prefer the Digitakt over the Electribe. The overall sound has more punch and character. Also the sequencer has more features to make really crazy patterns. It's deeper, but you'll need more time to get into it. The Electribe however is great for improvisation and is somehow quicker. If you have an Octatrack I would not get an Electribe Sampler. Maybe the Electribe synth version. or get a a "normal" synth wich is being triggered by the Octatrack sequencer...
Nice work here.
thanks!
Sounds great, liking the set as well as the individual tracks.
thanks!

Julian Laping I'm interested in learning to use the VA synth parts. Do you use these much?

Cool set. Did you use the Kaoss Pad (3?) to loop the end of some songs to mix in the next track?
+AA Battery Thanks! It's the KP3+. Yes, I do loop the pattern, then bring in the next one.
Good set .how did you get the bass line sound at 18.20 any modulation added?
It's based on a square wave as far as I remember. But no modulation added.....
@@axlplus thanks been trying to get that sound on the tribe for a bit .i can on the minilogue
