  • Our third Scolio-Hips video. This one focuses on getting that anterior (forward) hip back while in a standing position. How do you do it? And what very simple exercise can keep it there? It's important to remember that every moment we can keep our alignment a little closer to neutral (like in this video) the easier it will be to maintain a more neutral, more physiological normal position during your every day activities. Even if we change the spine a little, tiny bit, it can go a long way to easing some of the stiffness that can accompany scoliosis. Questions? Write to me below! Remember that the advice in these videos is never meant to replace medical advice. Always ask your doctor if it is safe to exercise first! And then ask your doctor if the exercises are appropriate for you. Enjoy and Please let us know how we can help!

It's my left hip that moves forward... and when I do this, I feel tight on my leg down to my knees. Is it normal?

Hi, Kate! I'm sorry for my very slow response. If you are feeling tight, back off until things feel less so. Don't do too much too soon.
