I really like the way you translate actually, I understand most of the Japanese in songs and shows, but still use subs for that is said fast or for friends, and find most subs suck or change things. Brb the character says ganbatte but the subs say `see you later`. WTF? Your subs really capture the feeling of the songs and are some of the best I have ever seen.

In the song, he says, "taste (experience) hardships and be made to swallow bitter liquid (bitter experiences)." I tried my best to keep both meanings in there, but I guess it came out sounding euphemistic. I wonder if I should change it... ^_^;
