Thank You! It's always good to hear as a content creator that your videos are helpful. Let me know if there is any other aerospace engineering topics, or XFOIL topics, that would be helpful for me to do a video on.
Thanks for the series. It is really helpful. In one of your videos You mentioned regarding adding to the code base of Xfoil. Please let me know how familiar You are with the structure of the code. Do You understand the cryptic variable names and especially the usage of common blocks. Look forward to a reply either ways. Thanks
The source code definitely feels like it was written by an engineer and not a software person, lol. I don't use Fortran 77 as much as more recent languages so that can add some time figuring things out when I'm going through the source code. Maybe future me will need to do something about that, lol! Although, this does give me an idea for a future video in the series.
Yeah, this was one of my first videos when I had a LOT less experience editing videos. I have since learned my lesson and, as you will see by my more recent videos, I have taken off the background music. I wish there was a way to do that with this video and still leave it up. Anyways, hope you suffer through the first few videos and get to the better ones in the series!
I can't remove it easily. It's part of the video file which would require removing this video and reposting. Sounds like a task for future me, lol. Later in the series I no longer have the background music so you just have to get through the first few with music.
Thanks for the video, mate. It is really helpful in understanding how the airfoil software works.

Great video man! Could you increase the music next time? I hear some guy talking in the background.
Great work👍
Thanks!

thanks for the video. but can you teach me how to determine the position of maximum pressure , the value of maximum pressure and the local velocity
Hello sir, Can you post some vidoes on blending of airfoils .
These are good videos on Xfoil and helping me out loads but the music is so annoying. Can't you just do the talking without the background music.
thankyou
You're welcome!

Thanks for the suggestion. I have corrected this in later videos. I hope you enjoy the rest of the series and the future XFOIL videos to come!
