    How do you set up the water level? The table?

      Use the table to set the level, think about the gavity and that this is a transient simulation.

    Neato, but how is looking at the wake pattern useful? I suppose the delta between bow wave trough and bow wave crest is proportional to the wave drag on the hull?

    I can't figure out how this is done in Solid 23 . There is no "dependency" button

      It's a SW2023 bug. Somehow made it's way all up to SP5. It was fixed in SW2024.

    This is by far the least supported of solidworks features. 0 support or explanation for this

    How much RAM is needed for simulations like this?

      you need a lot of cores in the cpu for this type of simulation

      @@gersonperezbr You are wrong. The number of cores affects the calculation speed. But if there is not enough RAM, there will be no calculation at all. I have already encountered this several times on my 32GB RAM.
