A fascinating film, but the music added nothing imho. The sounds of the unloading and the conversations of the staff would have been more interesting. Looking forward to visiting the Mid Hants as soon as possible.
lovely video of a lovely loco. Is there any particular reason why it is now at the watercress line. Is it so it can be resored, or perhaps help with the small trains that they will have soon when they reopen, due to the lack of customers because of Covid?
Somerset & Dorset Trust has moved a lot of its items to its new home at the Watercress Line. The plan is to use it for training and brake van rides I believe.
@@Altondigitalimage was there a bit of a fall out with the WSR? And also will Washford be painting it’s station in WR colours now the trust had moved? 🤔
(This is the video intended for this comment Matt !) The locos, 08377 and Kilmersdon, will likely have met at Minehead, but not with Kilmersdon in Prussian blue, it was unveiled about the time the 08 moved to MHR. Good effort there from 08377 climbing into Ropley, do you know the trailing load ? And isn't that the rad fan audible, showing the effort ?
@@mattlander9119 it’s a real shame - I like seeing the odd random thing headed to the MHR coming in past my flat! Not that we get much - but the odd treat!

Please lose the bloody awful music.
You could always turn the sound off because without the music that's what you would hear
A shame it came on a lorry... if it steamed in, it would have passed my window!
Wouldn't have been aloud to, plus I think it came from somewhere that was connected to the rail network.
