The 8" one you've got is the wide jaw version. Milwaukee only do a wide jaw option in that size. I'm interested in the 15" it was nice to see it against the others. Greetings from england 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿👍🏻

Thanks for the comment! They are all pretty nice wrenches. The 15" is quite handy to have around as well as the wide jaw 8". I certainly wouldn't say not the get either if your in the market for some new wrenches.

I see the 8" wide jaw has less metal in the upper jaw. Would that make it weaker than a comparable 8" wrench?

Technically, I believe it would. However, I don't think you would have to worry about it using it without a cheater pipe. If you used a cheater pipe, I believe you would still get away with quite a bit. That all being said, less metal seldom equates to equal strength.

Does the 8 inch wide draw and the 12 inch had the same opening?

I apologize for the delayed response but the opening sizes are 6 inch 0.980 inches just over 29/32, 10 inch 1.420 inches or 1 27/64, 8 inch 1.645 or 1 41/64, 12 inch 1.705 or 1 45/64 and 15 inch 1.863 or 1 55/64. All that being said to answer your question the 12 inch is just a tiny bit bigger than the 8 inch.

This review was not very helpful. You ignored the key feature and just sort of glossed over their unique features.
