One of my favorite, if not THE favorite jazz solo piano performances ever, and that's saying a lot. The technical control, phrasing, dynamics, voicing texture, and general vigor in his playing really make it so.
My ears are still dancing even after the track finished... continuous joy even after the track finished...Taylor! you're FUN to listen to!!!!! the jazz history all in 1 xd
That has left me speechless. Gonna be practising my walking bass for years before I get that 50% of the way there. Love the contrary motion runs, voicing, dynamic variations....everything!
This guy was the teacher for my combo when i was at Stanford Jazz Residency. He is amazing. I just regret that i wasn't as good as i am now to fully appreciate what he does
Love your piano and rhodes playing in combos, but piano solo is another tuff game. So your are also a master in this genre, thanks for sharing, hope for more output.
Good work, Taylor! I enjoyed that so much! See you next time with the Petrof or at Smalls in May...that Fazioli sounds fabulous and so do you! ~ Jeff H
Holy fuck shits! Just to merely understand the astronomical vocabulary leaves me fucked! Taylor... wow wow wow.. can't wait to see you this summer in Stanford :DD

you have found a new sound on the scene. Absolutely incredible. Reinventing the harmonic language.
Very nice. Love the quick change in dynamics thus tone. The piano sounds great too.

McCoy moment at 1:48
Fazioli?
In my opinion... Bill Evans' interpretation of this tune is the gold standard. Mr. Eigsti, while very talented, does not sound like someone in love.
Beebs Moriarty 🥴
I’m glad he doesn’t sound like Bill Evans - jazz it’s about self expression and that is his expression and it’s brilliant!
Didn't know Bradley Cooper could play piano
one hater, always! i person has no heart for real music!
The dislike is really bothering me...
fucking rushes for the like button. seriously wtf lol
