Damn! This girl drummer is insane!! Forget the fact that she is obviously a rarity as a female drummer, but to have that type of feel for this level of music is nothing less than God given talent. Beyond this world. I will be buying tickets to this concert.
Did you watch the whole thing? She had a drum solo at the end 10:58. I think the audience was captivated by them both! Even the dad on bass. This is amazing.
lm a 60 yr old white guy jazz guitarist and can tell you this kid is a prodigy and grounded in gospel music. True jazz from the heart. l tried to explain it to so many. TheECardoso she made me pop out the seat for a second there.. and isn’t she playing in like ugs or something? Lol chick was kill’n from drummer to drummer.
I'm sure the dad must be so proud of his two very talented children! He's talented as well, of course. I was proud for him. Refreshing to see such innate talent and the smiles that went with the performance.
@@totallyfake2852 Oh good grief.... the talent is in their genes. I understand your point and no doubt they've practiced to fine tune their show. But those children were born with the ability to express their musicianship. I would bet that family has a history of musicians in the family tree.
Greymatters The biggest ”talent” for these kids is the fact that they were born into a musical family and have most likely been influenced by music since a very young age. Of course, sertain aptitude for learning and memorizing things can be genetic, but musical talent isn’t like having a great body structure for running or swimming. If anyone puts enough focused practice into learning music, they will improve, no matter if they have ”a history of musicians in the family tree”. I think overusing the word ”talent” is quite disrespectful for all musicians spending thousands of hours fining their craft.
@@ollivirtanen5167 You prove my point...."born into a musical family".... You can type semantics all you want to, but the fact is there are people with innate abilities and that means literally they can excel in areas others will struggle with. I appreciate the effort of anyone practicing and attempting to perfect their abilities. I'm simply stating these children have an advantage. There's a reason we use the word "innate" and I'm quite certain I'm not using it out of context here. An example is those who can play by ear... If that's not genetic/innate then please tell me the word you would use.... And yes, that's a talent. Have a great day/night!
@@boeingman777 Yes, it is true that being born to a musical family is definitely an advantage, but I wouldn't really call it ''innate'' or a ''talent''. As for perfect pitch and other real ''talents'', I personally find them not that impressive and not even that useful from a musician's perspective, at least in the long run. Personally I think that the most important things in music can only be learned through hours of practice and exposure to music. While I definitely wouldn't argue there isn't any musical talent out there, I would argue that the way it's highlighted over skill honed by thousands and thousands of hours of practice is a bit demeaning for the work. Have a great night/day too!
Great playing on the key, but hey I salute the 🥁 drummer. She has crazy dynamic, spot on the pocket. She made the percussion sound like singing, that's how good she was. overall amazing vibe👍🏻 This show will give them big shoot. Can't wait to hear more from them.
That whole trio be freakin JAM’n bruh.. I mess with all three of those instruments and I dig their vibe. lil miss is killing with the sticks. They got some soul in that family.
People make the world go round....This prodigy is doing justice to the timeless classic. Oh...man! What a rare talent. The future is in very good hands
Justin, as always rhythmic, lilting, and enjoying what he does. And his sister like a stopwatch, marking every millisecond of their good jazz. This beautiful rhythm is in good hands.
The best concert I’ve been to all year.....Real talk....I’m a bass player and I’m playing along with your dad as an listen and man. Is this a ride of the evening.....Salute💯👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽💯🙌🏽
was just listening calmly to the music but when the girl started her solo...i get up off my chair straight !!! can't help but still on it !! what a crew !!
I looked at some earlier stuff from this family and they really have something fantastic. The timing is so on point. I love ya'll. I do music with my sons (hip hop) but its just the idea of being creative together.
These young ones make me so Proud, and I don't even know them. Wishing you both great success in Life, you will bring much joy to many people with your Music!

That young lady was working the drums.
love her style
I believe that is his sister
Indeed she was
indeed she was not. of course she knows the tunes very well because she's playing them all year long. but timing and solo was nothing special. sorry.

As a percussionist myself, I can’t help but be impressed with the percussionist as well as the rest of the performers.
Omgoodness she killed it right!!! I was equally impressed with everyone, this was so good!

well, nothing personal, but it was not very precise by the drummer. she would better practise some rudiments. she surely did not kill it.
