A cool detail I don't think many people have noticed yet, is that this final boss theme parallels the DLC final boss theme. Both phase 2 themes of these bosses feature a solo singer. The solo singer for Consort Radahn's theme is assumed to represent Miquella, while the solo singer for the Elden Beast theme is assumed to represent Marika.
What will I do next? Well for one, I promise to come back and cover the dark souls games and Sekiro one day. But for now I think I'm done with Elden Ring. I probably won't be posting very frequently or maybe at all anymore for at least a while. If you want to unsubscribe to get rid of a dormant channel go ahead.
I would probably put it on the same level as Isshin as my two favorite final bosses in the series. I love them both. Radagon is one of the most satisfying bosses in the series to fight, and Elden Beast is a MUCH better version of Ebrietas and the Moon Presence with only one attack that sucks, but Torrent seems to fix that problem. But people like to hate anyways as usual like the guy below us.
What an absolute dumpster fire of a final boss. Radagon is Mediocre at best and downright bad at worst, and the Elden Beast is bad at best and absolutely insulting at worst. Radagon has a weightless moveset that is unsatisfying to even watch, let alone evade. One minute his hammer is the lightest thing in the universe, and the next he suddenly loses all sense of balance and strength and struggles to move the damn thing. And then the teleporting starts. Radagon has two teleports: a delayed one he uses to spawn on you, and a rapid one that he uses to teleport far away to wind up a gap closer or ranged attack. So far so good right? Wrong, because Radagon's definition of "far away" is still close enough to clip you with the AOE of the teleport, so you must 1. see that Radagon teleported, which can be difficult at times due to all the particles flying all over the screen. 2. gauge the distance, which can be wonky because Radagon sometimes spaces himself with the delayed teleport, which can visually seem to overlap with the range he will reappear with the rapid teleport. 3. If far, determine, in half a second, if Radagon is still close enough to telefrag you and react, but don't react too fast, because if Radagon teleports close-but-far, it will be a delayed AOE- and you've already gotten hit. And then the Elden Beast. This boss manages to break away from the "easy boss ruined by one attack". It has TWO. Elden Stars is awful and everyone knows it, but can we talk about the raining light beams for a second? The ones you dodge by running in a serpentine motion? The ones that will still clip you even if you execute the dodge motions? The ones that will sometimes not clip you for running around the boss, and sometimes will? The ones that can overlap with Elden Stars and force you to run TOWARDS the undodgeable light show? Yeah, they are absolutely terrible, and both of these attacks make Elden Beast hands down the worst final boss Fromsoft has ever produced, only maybe being in competition with Gwyn from DS1, and that's a boss with an entire moveset unsuited to the game he's in, so that's the level of terrible Elden Beast alone invokes. I have a healthy amount of small snippets of Radagon's broken hitboxes, Elden Bitches overlapping Stars and Bars, and both of their terribleness in general. Oh, and also, I don't care how flashy and "beautiful" a boss is. Mechanics are the only thing that matter to these bosses. For reference, Darkeater Midir is one of my favorite spectacle bosses. He is huge, yes, and his attacks look cool, yes, but neither of those come before good, solid mechanical polish and fairness.
I feel like I've proven you wrong for most of this video. Out of the many dozens of Radagon fights I've had, not once did his far away teleport clip me. Also you seem very strong in your opinion, and very intolerant of other people's opinions. Like when I ranked Bayle pretty low on my DLC ranking you thought that I "hated Bayle". I've seen you elsewhere on RUclips as well and you tend to display the same type of behavior. Maybe get a grip? Touch some grass as the guy above me said? Either way I don't appreciate toxicity on my comment section, and this time around I actually do have the power to do something about it if I wish since it's my video.

Anyone else just wanna snuggle up and cuddle with the Elden Beast? It's really cute. No? Just me?

best final boss in the series tbh

I won't argue with you buddy, go touch grass
