Karakoram Express Fastest Train Journey from Lahore to Faisalabad,Karakoram Exp Economy Class Travel

Hello railfans, today we are going to Faisalabad from Lahore, and we will travel by Karakoram Express 42DN from Lahore junction Railway Station to Faisalabad Railway station,
Its almost Two hour train journey and Karakoram exp is best train to travel between Lahore to Faisalabad and vice versa,
42DN Karakoram Express departs through Lahore at 3:00pm and arrives at Faisalabad by 5:10pm,
It took ml1 till Shahdara bagh Junction then it diverts in Shahdara bagh sangla hill branch line then karakoram express continue its run on Khanewal wazirabad branch line till the Khanewal junction,
I am doing this travel vlog to capture fastest action of karakoram express on branch lines of pakistan railways,
You will witness the the great diesel electric chugging of general electric locomotive (GEU-40) and some mind blowing fast speed action of karakoram expeess,

Let me share another surprising fact with you. I have worked with General Electric (GE) in Pakistan - the company that produced & supplied locomotives to Pakistan Railways. It's a great company and supplied good quality engines to PR.

فیصل آباد۔۔۔۔ میری سہیلی خالدہ کا شہر۔ اسے دیکھ کر میرے چہرے پر مسکراہٹ پھیل گئی۔ اور ٹرین کا وقت امد بہت بہترین تھا۔ یہ ایک اچھی بات ہے۔ پورے ۵:۱۲ پر یعنی صرف دو منٹ لیٹ۔ تالیاں۔ ورنہ وہ وقت بھی تھا جب ٹرین کے دیر سے آنے پر لطیفے بنتے تھے۔

Best train journey in Karakoram Express. High speed action at Khanewal Wazirabad Branch Line before Faisalabad. Karakoram Express CNR Rake k sath he achi lagti hai. Baqi Sheikhupura per waqai Shalimar ya Shah Hussain Express mein sy kisi 1 train ka stop hona chahiay. Lovely train travel. Best of luck bhai.

Another excellent video. Love the Diesel engine sounds. It is music to a railfan’s ears. I recall many diesel loco powered trips in India in the 80s on routes that have now been electrified. The sounds of the engine picking up and the smell of the diesel smoke will stay with me forever. Thanks for sharing.
