he made a 10 second clip into a 17 min video
He breakin everything down that’s why
@@Jj_2723 He's breaking the English language mostly
True
*9.97 clip , huge difference
Epic
I love that the running community is really blowing up on RUclips
Sorry, but what's so spectacular about running?
@@Wabbelpaddel nothing’s fun about running except he competitions. If yk yk
Track szn
@@Wabbelpaddel bro wtf, if you know how to run fast it feels amazing
@@timmy4312 that’s fax yo these other athletes WOULDNT understand what it feels to run so fast that it feels like your floating.
This man ran a whole 33 sec 300m after the race lmfao
Don't run track of any kind, and haven't watched your videos in my life, but I saw your vid in my fees for some reason, and thought to myself that running a 9.97 is pretty fucking incredible.
its almost averages out to 33 feet per second
@@gabrieldominguez4891 thanks for stating the obvious
@@ytg3005 I put it in simpler terms for someone who doesn't watch track.. no need to be rude lol
@@gabrieldominguez4891 It says 100m in just under 10 seconds I’m pretty sure a 8 year old could work that one out
@@ytg3005 Surprised you can do simple math considering your social skills are so juvenile
looking like team jamaica in that fit, that's why you was going like Usain
You’re totally correct about your premature lean. If you watch the slow motion from the finish line, you are actually starting to stand up straight again. Definitely could have hit 995
or 994. Crazy good start! Keep driving!
I love this video, I think you should definitely do a video where you take race footage and do some in-depth technical analysis - breaking down your race phase-by-phase. going through form, mindset/mentality, breathing etc. you can also show races where there's room for improvement (e.g. botched starts, bad execution, nervous etc.) and talk that through and how you corrected that. I think it would be immensely helpful for younger/developing sprinters when they hear a professional analyze their races. I am sure such a video would do very well!
Exactly. Like how do you be explosive yet relaxed at the same time.
@@DIPPLEDORP I'm a mid distance runner but my coach has been teaching me to become more relaxed. It sounds weird but eventually you start to understand. I am not that good but it is about shutting off the muscles that aren't doing anything. It is probably much more in depth and important in the sprints.
Wishing u the best! Big goals for you and team USA in 2021 or whenever Covid let up.
Congrats! I enjoy seeing the joy that you experience watching this and reliving your amazing and well-deserved 1st sub 10. I believe there's more
I've stopped Track but have great memories of days like this when it all falls together perfectly! Thanks for sharing!
No wasted energy. He is very efficient and fluent
F L U 1 D. tho😏
You know he a sprinter when he say “get there” that’s “fast man language”
LOVE this video!! Shows how much depends on your mental focus and how much work you put in to get every detail perfect!! So many people think runners like you are just born fast and don't realize the amount of work you have to put in to perfect the race!!
Hey man, I know the feeling. My first sub 10 was 1970, of course it was the 100 yards. Still remember that day I clocked 9.7sec. Keep up the good work and keep your eyes on the prize.
Mine was 1983, junior in HS and yeah the 100 yards for me too....you cats are flying in 100 meters lol!!!
I was SOOOOO hyped when i hit 9.8. It was crazy for me because although I played all sports, baseball was my game and I knew that kind of speed was going to set me up nicely in baseball. NO ONE on a baseball field had those kind of burners 8-)
Congrats bro!
I remember my first sub 10. Subway guy forgot to put any ranch on the last 2 inches so I threw it away after the first 10
@@collin5752 B+ !!
@@collin5752 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 very funny joke!
Everyone, the race starts at 9:25 smh
Bro took 9 and a half minutes to get to the actual video.
@@EliMarszalek 😂😂😂😂
thank you for this. Almost wasted 17 mins of my life
Thanks...
"Almost wasted 17 minutes of my life" headass, you prolly one of them dudes that sit on his fatass eating fritos on a comforter talking bout "wasting 17 minutes" its a reaction, when you run under 10 seconds you're gonna wanna break it down and talk about it, I don't expect u to understand 🥱
Congrates you are the 141 th athletes to ever run less 10 on a 100 m
He is 141 according to Wikipedia...
thats actually such an amazing achievement to have man. I hope to run that fast one day.
@@jmdagoon it s probably impossible if you haven t donne it your whole life since childhood or like Christophe Lemaitre at 17 years old
@@guillaumelecam6257 im 13
@@jmdagoon it s possible so , you want to be professionnal?
I remember this race i remember goin crazy watching it lol Congrats to this young Brotha doin his Thang for them Ducks. FIRST DUCK SUB 10!!!! IN MY OPINION I SAW 9.92 IN HIM YAW!!!!
Happy for you man! Im not a runner im a swimmer but i love your commentary. In sports like running and swimming you have to struggle with not looking at the other racer and staying in your lane and doing what you do best. Mad props and great commentary to show how an A-list athlete works.
Dude, you're freakin' amazing. Great job and what a milestone..
such a great talent and still works at a shoe store day night to earn living. Hope he gets proper time and training.
Yeah
My guy ran 200 more meters, good work bro. I been working in the lab my fastest time of my career is 11.17 I’m only 12 though
Shoe collection fye
just subscribed. we need a lot more people like you on youtube
We love Degrasse up here in Canada ❤ he's clutch in big races. So for you to share a record with an Elite Sprinter and Olympic Medalist like Degrasse..... that's some kind of impressive!!! Sick race🔥
Some Americans like Degrasse too, me included.
First time on your channel and I’m hooked 🪝👏🏾 cant wait to keep watching the journey
Everything coming together, amazing feeling!
Visualisation btw is creating a mental image of a desired outcome
Thanks bro for these flashbacks.
I just love your vibes and swag
Keep it up.
As a distance runner this interested me a lot, I can only run like 12 or 13.
Randomly found this man’s channel now I’m binge watching it
Track is a rough sport. Running sub-10 in the 100m in college track is the equivalent of winning an NCAA basketball championship. But I only discovered this race through a random RUclips suggestion, and this is the first time I have ever heard of this guy.
Im your biggest fan! Teach me how to run like you!!
Go faster

Step 1: be a male 😭😭
You can’t because you’re female
It was nice seeing this, I just started last year and the football acceleration was nice always out and leading for the first 40 meters in the 60..I have good top end but I was always fighting myself and nervous going against the top schools like Houston now that I’m a bit more use to it and calmer hopefully it goes we’ll see the shoe game doe been getting mines up lately 🤣
Keep grinding bro 🙏🏽
Sir I'm so proud of you. Stay focus. I'll be watching..
Huge fan of u bro love watching ur races
It’s crazy to think that running sub 10 is something hard af to do and that most track stars will never do or will only do once in their lives. And then you have a 6’5 lengthy ass track star that runs sub 9.8 jogging and 9.50 in his prime. Like that is so crazy to even comprehend
DESERVES ANOTHER FRIKIN SUB
Love to see it, dope video and story - idk if the video needed to be 17 minutes tho XD
yea BREH lol
awesome stuff man
Great job and explanation! Looking forward to more.
That head band go crazy
You should really do race breakdowns, this is my first video of yours I watched so maybe you already do. But yeah good shit. I like the. Breakdown.
Bro, nice video! I’m your #1 fan ❤️
Good job! God bless you man
Congratulations 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 I love Track and Field training my two young boys

See you in Olympics!
Anyone else think my man here ran a very similar race to Bolts 9.58? Daang! Made that look so easy, fired up like a .............👊🏾
Finally brother❤️👏
Great race! I hope to be there one day
Respect keep goin ‼️
look at Cray man, so inspirational
These videos are dope af bro
In your bag🔥🔥fast as hell
Cool video. I just watched Gillespie beat DK Metcalf (and others) and his form is unreal. Seemingly efortless and very impressive. I know basically little about Track, but I know fast and I’m rooting for this guy. Let’s Go, Cravon...”envisualize” victory!
top 10 funniest video
Craig...lol what up cuzo you done got big, long time no see
What do you think do 11.10s in the 100 meters without training? And 22.50s in the 200m without training? Thanks
Damn y’all went 9.97 with 0.2, imagine with 1.9! Y’all a flier bro this season gonna be 🔥
God bless you all! Jesus loves you!
Good job king.👑🤴🏿
i feel like this video could’ve been a little shorter. like, idk, 9.97 seconds or so?
Epic
Then watch the actual video and not the reaction lol
*_Noice!_*
I thought I show some love so happy 500 subscribers 😭
Love these videos.
5:50 that young Cravon looks like Dasoulou for some reason
This is what I like to see
This is so inspiring
Good shii bro 🔥💪🏾
Two requests. Please do a video on (1) your 9.93 and (2) your 19.93.
Facts
@@nelsonlomick6691 Not sure what you mean, but I am happy to explain my request if you clarify. Thank you.
Facts, is basically slang for agreeing with a statement. For example, I agree that Crayvon Gillespie should make a vid on his 19.93 race.
@@nelsonlomick6691 OK, thanks, that helps. Being almost 65, well, I am not too good at modern slang. Now Cravon, are you listening? We both want you to do videos on your 9.93 and 19.93.
OK. I saw the two races. They occurred at the 2019 NCAA Outdoor Championships. Would love to hear your commentary.
Well done
Dope!! Keep grinding !!
bro thats dope keep grinding;)
Excellence my Brutha!
Great content! Thanks for sharing!
Big fellas hella fastttt
People kinda lost perspective on what sub 10 means, like 170 people in history have done that lol. There's like more people that have been to space or are billionaires than sub 10 sprinters. Good shit dude.
Don't rush the race

Suscribed from day one
This video LIVE bro! Track and Field need more Reaction videos!
Bruh......sub 10 is legit!

Congrats bro, I worked really hard in college and I was only able to run 10.6
Let’s go brother! Incredible time, how old are you?
Hey! I'm a sixth grade sprinter, and I ran a 15.50 second 100 meter dash. Is this a good time?
No thats very slow for a sixth grade sprinter.
Good job bro
well this just got recommended
