Add extra hole and bolt otherwise it's loose and shakes. Use bolt instead of pin system

Installed one of these on my John Deere E120 after viewing your video, however, my bumper had plastic end caps with threads on them and I cannot get the caps to slide into place. I'm open to suggestions on how to install the end caps.

So,I’m looking for a hardware kit to replace the pins on my brother’s D160 brush guard. Are the 2 carriage bolts necessary? I see that you didn’t install them. Can’t find a kit anywhere online, that doesn’t come with the guard. I’ll probably have to go to tractor supply and see what I can find there.

What are the other bolts for?
