I have heard this a few times LIVE at Prodigy gigs in Scotland but my best memory was when they finished their set with this tune Gabba in Glasgow in 1997!! OMG it was awesome to hear this so loud and live in a packed Tent of 12000 people on Glasgow Green! Best ending to a set ever!! ;o)
@borys66 Yea it sucks that RUclips is the only place for certain rare songs. I just wish some posters would host the actual audio file so we can get a better quality version instead of this video since youtube compresses the video to their standards even with the 1080p.

when did they start playing this? I'm trying to figure it out as I believe I have just heard a tune they may have sampled parts of the tune from done in 94...although, I swear, I've heard them playing this on live recordings since the Experience days back in the 92/93 🤔
I am not quite sure. I think Experience times might be too early since they played this at Phoenix fest and fat of the land had just came out. Maybe they included this in the sets when jilted came out?
@@DirtyDerbi I've RUclips'd it and can find 'evidence' that it was being played out since 94. I have personal knowledge that it was being played live from at least 95 (when I saw them at Doncaster Dome in the UK...the tour prior to Jilted being released where they had unveiled Keef's twin mohawk and Firestarter) so it may be then that they sampled the gabba track I heard on a different channel last night ( HARDSEQUENCER BRAIN CRASH (FIRE RECORDINGS) 1994) to make elements of their own Gabba live track...maybe as a final fairwell to the out and out kiddie rave style era they were transitioning from...still with a nod to the Rave while expressing a vision of the energy they wanted to produce with their music moving forwards. Thing is, I knew of the track prior to going to see them as I'd heard it on a tape of them playing The Marquee...and another from a similar time too.
@@weedfreer I actually had to fact check some stuff. Fat of the Land came in 1997 and Phoenix fest was held in -96. So they played unreleased stuff (Breathe, Firestarter) at fests, which is awesome! So Jilted was the current released album in -96. I've also seen older videos from Gabba than the 96 performance. But I would imagine 92-93 was a bit too early for a banger like Gabba, it has a bit more fresher sound. I'd imagine Liam came up with it in -94(ish). So that would be the Jilted era. edit. Also, I have no idea where I got this track and where and when it was performed :D it's been 11 years now.

I'm sure they played it during the Marquee set I've got
@@DirtyDerbi just seen a clip frommanset done in Tokyo Japan in 1994...they seem to have played it second track on the bill...whether they were only there for 2 tracks or a whole set though, I couldn't tell. Seems strange to me either way that they'd have played it second on the bill so early in their set...maybe, it was because it was a new track at that point that they were excited to blast out is all I'm wondering 🤔
