Call me a degenerate, call me a pot head, make fun of me for listening to SoundCloud rap, unless you grew up in this generation, unless you were there to witness the creative genuis of these men, the brotherhood, the deaths, you can’t tell me shit. I feel blessed to have been around to witness this era. These men have such a way of verbalizing the pain, the addiction, and the love that permeates our generation. It’s beautiful, and unless you get it, you’ll never get it. Well done.
This was a great documentary you had me laughing so hard when you accidentally said "he continued to do lean" LMFAO 😭 Drippin So Pretty is my favorite musician, first found him with the True Love True Pain album and I truly felt that his music held me through the hardest and loneliest times of my life when I was also struggling with addiction for years. I didn't have anyone in my real life who understood, and listening to Drip's music I felt understood and that a way out was possible. Hearing him talk about being sober for some time was such an inspiration and I hoped one day I would get there too, and now I have. I love how his music continues to evolve and I feel like I grew along with it. All his songs dropped this year are absolute hitters and the fact that he is constantly dropping new music always gives me something to look forward to! I also met some of my favorite people amongst his fan base and I am forever thankful. Drippin So Pretty is such a talented mf and is also wholesome af and he created a community that I'm really grateful to be a part of
I laughed when he told the story about his mom catching him in the bathroom getting high, faked tears, and threw the "blunt" away only to fish it out later and get high again. I watched that same interview and in that story he was doing dope in the bathroom, not smoking weed lol. Still a great video though, no hate.
"The Message" Will stick with me 4 the rest of my life I'm surprised you didn't mention it while talking about him and gg neeks, definitely one of his deepest tracks along with last shot. Great doc though man

i’m rly late but in last shot heroin when he says “she,” as in “she took my life away my life then brought it back, she killed my friends but i still feel attached” is so powerful. i love how he did this. it makes it sound like he’s talking about a toxic relationship with a girl but he’s actually demonstrating how the depths of drug addiction can be very similar
Been a listener of Drip for a few years now, he is not a plastic rapper and only drops tracks about real things, the man has been underrated for so long he needs more recognition.
As someone who did heroin as recently as 20 min ago, I also would not give it a positive steam review. If you accidentally buy the game make sure to refund within 2 hours to get money back or else ull be fucked
