  • In this video I show you how to troubleshoot an open circuit on a Nac panel. The panels that are in this video are silent knight fire alarm panels. I’ll show you step-by-step how to troubleshoot a trouble on a notification circuit. I know the room is dark but you should be able to see what is going on. K hawk 2018

Thanks for the trick. I do maintenance for a 1 million sq. Ft. Shipping wearhouse and locating NAC faults is a major hassle. Looking forward to more.

Thank you! I've been in fire alarm inspection for years with my company. And they didn't teach me much other than how to test and find devices. A disabled points.
I've pushed and pushed and finally got to install in try to work my way up to service. And you're videos are great. I'm very fortunate for the opportunity to learn form the guys where I work at being they are tecks that been in the business for 20+ years. But you're video help alot. Please keep it up. We are Edwards Est installers mostly. But we still work on everything. Old zone panels and what not.

@@khawk7365 very much so. I understand everything it you could do some videos on wiring up older Conventional devices with modules making them compatible with addressable panels. Also The only other thing that I need help on is like a video that you already have up, as far as supervising power supplies I'm unsure about the contacts and the resistor. To keep it Supervised. If you Could make a anothor video that a little clearer it would be tremendously helpful to me.

I had to get a lift and it was a crushed horn strobe. By the bath tub area. They lift tubs put on top shelf and had hit it with the lift. I replaced it and I could see my end of line and the rest of the strobes horns worked. Hope this helps.

@@khawk7365 go figure it was a crushed notification device..I work for maintenance for an apartment complex and looked at every circuit and looked fine but then I located the end of the last initiating device and took the alarm off the base and found a cracked resistor.. what brand notification devices are you running?? We run system sensor L series

@@aspenqwerty3 typically system sensor or gentex at these locations. But I've worked with most ever kind out there. 😁
