This is very detailed and extremely helpful video, just like all others! Unlike usual I would like to point out something without being too nosy. Satin is not a sustainable fabric, and as rightly mentioned by Deepika one bonnet would go a long way. Affordability is very much a genuine thing for everyone. So for everyone who would prefer satin over silk, please resort to 1 or maximum 2 options and stick to it till the fabric is absolutely obsolete and unfit to use. Avoid multiple purchases for different colours and patterns, one would just work fine for everyone. Thank you for reading if you reached till here :) ☘️

Satin is actually a weave type and not a fabric. Its actually polyster with satin weaving. Sooo not at all biodegradable. So yes I think bonnet should anyways be bought one and done be it silk or satin

So so motivated to get into bonnets and pillow covers. I wanted to buy it rather invest in it but currently im a little tight on the picket as i have multiple functions to attend. So sara paisa wahi pe ja raha hai. But amidst getting many things stitched, im having my tailor stitch me a bonnet and pillowcase too :) hopefully he will get it right . I have sent him so many reference pictures and explained him what it is for. And he has agreed. As long as it covers my hair ajd keeps it snug while sleeping and under the helmet because helmets are the worst like that. Im good. :)
That’s the best option when tight on budget! Glad you tailor is making it. Buy/stitch/get stitched do whatever is feasible because satin for curls is the best think ever😍 and skin too! I hope it turns out awesome!

I totally agree on the zero hair pulling. remember those old Ads where the lady would use a shampoo or oil and then put up a elastic scrunchie from a tight pony to show less hair strands... I do that every time I remove hair love's scrunchie and unlike the ads which show 3 to4 strands I have ZERO!! hahaha. Full ads wali feel aati hai.

I work in operation theatre and i have to tie my hair and wear a scrub cap. So my curls are ruined in a day. I wish someone comes up with a product to protect curls for those wearing scrub cap every day at work

Completely dry hair! However......i often wear it in 80% wet hair just because I washed hair at night snd I am feeling sleepy😂 some people wear it in damp hair too for damp plopping (i havent tried that though)
You can find as many uses as you want but it’s for dry hair😇

Deepika, I have this problem, I used to use a bonnet religiously when I was in Delhi. But now that I am home, it's crazy humid and we don't use an ac because it's the North east. But I have been keeping my hair in a bun for two months now, - wash days. I can not sleep in a satin bonnet because of the heat. Now I only sleep on a sateen pillowcase with a pineapple, but my hair doesn't retain shape. Especially on the lower lengths. I guess, there is nothing I can do right now, considering the current situation, no??

I have shown in the video how I tie it in summers because I literally live in bonnets🙈 check the bonnet section. It would work for bonnet with a tail. I feel hot because satin touching neck makes me sweat and feel hot. So I fold the tail part and tuck it in the bonnet. Works like a charm..check this video for that and probably it will give you an idea how to do it for your bonnet❤️
@@desicurly thanks love. Your tips are to my rescue, always. Its so humid here that my hair just doesn't dry, eventually some strands are always wet because sweat. So I am unable to get 100% crunchy curls. My hair ends up producty and frizzy. So today, I just did a leave in.. Baas. Without diffuser it's impossible to dry my hair.
hii there, seems like you have same issues like mine. try using a single layered silk bonnet or buff. it will be more breathable, less weighty and your curls will be happy too. unlike satin, silk is a natural fabric and is more breathable. ☺

Hi! Be it curly or straight hair its good for everyone because of properties of satin. As for hairfall, nope no hairfall. I have been using since years now. It doesn’t suffocate your scalp. The fabric is breathable. Not a good idea to do the same with a plastic cap.

Personal thing 🙈 I work two jobs (content creator and software engg) so managing both has taken up on my health🥺 not that I need sympathy or anything hehe😅
There is another issue with me😆 i like really detailed videos on youtube and I record them accordingly(i like to talk a lot) and then when I edit these videos omg! I regret talking so much😂 it takes me weeeks to edit one video! 17 minutes of videos mean 2-3 week of editing for me 😂

What to do while working out?? becuase it's really irritating if I keep my hair open
You can make a pineapple like I have shown in the video and clip away rest of the hair from pineapple. Keeping hair away is the only way to do it while working out and later on you will need to refresh hair if you want the definition again else let the sweat dry out and let your hair be.

Sorry I don’t advocate and suggest things to change natural pattern of hair like getting straight hair. My motive is to help south asians understand curly hair and how to take care of it.
If yoy want straight hair then get the salon treatments done. That is the only way for would last for few months but will immensely damage your hair.

Yes ofcourse! If your hair is dry then use a little amount of their cream..mix it with water in hands and then spread it throughout hair. Then do the same with gel. Your curls will look and feel really good😇

Srunchie twisting: think about it. You will pull your hair and twist the scrunchie against it..how hard will it pull hair😇 will the curls last with that pull?

Okay! So there seems to be some confusion here. We respire from our nose right? So wearing a cap on our head/hair that too made of fabric..how is it going to effect o2 or co2?
When they say dont cover your head then they mean that dont put your quilt/rajai/blanket over your head because that way your nose and face will be inside the blanket and your nose wont get fresh air containing oxygen. The air that your release from nose (full of co2) is what your nose will again inhale in. That’s how co2 consumption of body increases when you stop fresh air supply. It has nothing to do with what you wear on your head 😇

Dc : recently got marrix hydrasource before that homemade banana n curd mask
I wash may hairs upside down n then apply the styling products with small section.
Off late its been giving me great result but only on wash day.. next it so greasy yo touch, messy (feels like combing) n hairs feel as if it were n er washed and so beed to put them in bun while going to office which has started causing headache. Also, m experiencing hair fall.
I use satin pillow at night with may hair in pineapple pony or bun.. have ordered bobnet though yet to receive
Would suggest you to go slow on oil. You might be using too much for the shampoo bar to remove it all plus using a lot is not recommended. Shampoo bars are very mild and using them properly is tricky. You can use just a tiny bit of coconut oil on scalp and ends. You can also go for a lighter oil or not use oil before ER shampoo bar because its a very mild shampoo bar wont dry out hair. Also try using less leave in conditioner before gel.
