FREE Things to do in Mons, Belgium 🇧🇪

I missed a connection when trying to have one of my random adventures, so ended up exploring the city of Mons instead (also known as Bergen in Flemish). Great to see the terraces open and people enjoying food and drinks outside again. Features some of Mons' best sights including the "Grand Place", Bootle Square, an overflowing bottle bank, the Collégiale Sainte-Waudru, a really ugly statue, the old clock tower (locals use it to tell the time), the Hotel de ville (not a hotel, but the town hall) and the city's beautiful train station, even nicer than the one I saw in Antwerp in my opinion.
