Tom and Erica are so natural and fun. Crazy they never got together in IRL, they're perfect for each other. They give off power couple vibes when they get together.
Smallville isnt perfect, some storylines abandoned others should not have been pursued. But 80/20 the whole series is more hit than miss. Alot of characters brought in way earlier than in comics, some work well, others less so, but choosing to bring in Erica as Lois is what made it work ....and even though the creators didn't plan to make her a permanent addition she made the fans love her and they chemistry was off the charts.......and thats why nobody wonders why they ended up together as the best blend of heaven and earth couple ever....

It’s been a long time now since smallville was on and ended.
For me it was the best superhero adaptation of all time.
They got so much correct and brought in other characters so well.
It is now when I’ve watched a few episodes or seen a clip on RUclips , that you appreciate just how good it was.
The ending like all good endings. Left us wanting more, it would of been nice to see another season especially expanding the daily planet and metropolis settings.
However it was Clarks journey to becoming superman , he had done everything that superman can do , just without the suit.
Great show , the best of its kind.
Not sure if you care but they actually do continue the story in a comic and it was actually really good.

I'm so glad Tom is now able to enjoy/appreciate Smallville! I remember when he was a bit of a curmudgeon about it all 😅. Perspective and hindsight are wonderful things!

I love Louis a sense of humor when Clark picks her up to move her out of the way after she says you have to go through me at the hospital there's a slight delay she's confused and then a smile. That's the humor line straight odds and naked guys that's what Louis likes

Just started to watch SmallVille. Yes show looks cheap today and acting is not that good, but it has that nostalgic feeling that I like it. When it first came out I was a kid and I didnt watched it, but i remember some characters cause probably seen something.
Yeah, I started watching this show in this may 2023 and I agree with you because the effects looked cheap but we have to take into consideration the time (2001). I think that was becasue the producers were not sure about the future of the sure and didn't want to invest to much at the beggining. From my viewpint the show starts strongly from the last part of season 3. Now, I am watching the 9th season and It has been a nice journey.
